The Bug Race could recycle all biomaterials. Corpses, even those blown to pieces on the battlefield, could be reclaimed and used to quickly produce the next batch of tools inheriting the flesh of their predecessors.

Their endless craving for biomaterials and terrifying efficiency in utilizing them were the primary reasons they could dominate this planet.
