Danisa settled into his new routine with ease. He woke up every morning at 6:00 AM, got dressed, and headed downstairs to Aunt Rose's cozy kitchen. She would already be up, sipping coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Good morning, dear!" she would say, smiling at Danisa. "How are you today?"
Danisa would reply, and they would chat about their plans for the day. Aunt Rose would then hand him a bowl of oatmeal or scrambled eggs, and Danisa would dig in, savoring the delicious flavors.
After breakfast, Danisa would head off to school, feeling energized and focused. He was determined to make the most of his new life in the city, and he was grateful to Aunt Rose for providing him with a stable and loving home.
As the days turned into weeks, Danisa began to feel more confident and self-assured. He made new friends at school, and he even started to enjoy the city's fast-paced rhythm.
But despite his growing confidence, Danisa couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing. He missed his mother, and he longed to see her again. He knew that Aunt Rose was doing her best to take care of him, but he couldn't help feeling a pang of sadness whenever he thought about his mother's absence.
One day, as Danisa was walking home from school, he turned to Aunt Rose and asked, "Auntie, can we visit my mom soon? I miss her so much."
Aunt Rose's expression softened, and she put a gentle hand on Danisa's shoulder. "Of course, dear," she said. "We'll visit your mom soon. I promise."
