Third person POV
Later after dinner, Robert and his group are taking a bath at the palace bathhouse. As his male friends are chatting to one another while relaxing in the hot water, Robert now wonders about participating in that tournament and how hard can it be.
After that, in his yukata, Robert was walking down the zen garden for an evening walk when Mirai calls his name from behind. Robert then turned around, only to see it was her, in her expensive-looking kimono.
"Oh, good evening," Robert greeted in response. "You must be Mirai, right?"
"Yes, how did you know that?" Mirai asked back.
"I think Peter-kun had mentioned someone like the daughter of the shogun," Robert responded while thinking for a bit. "At that time, my weapons instructor, Masanori-sensei, wasn't at Peacewood."
Mirai was surprised to hear that Robert is also her tutor's student.
"You're his student, too?" she asked back.
"Yeah, I am," Robert replied.
"I see."
They then both sat down on a wooden bench.
"Hey, uh, I saw you had a scabbard on your waist," Mirai responded with an explanation. "Do you wield a katana?"
"Yes," Robert replied back. "I have one."
"Was it imported from here?"
"Yes, it was," Robert responded back, "and I got it from a marketplace in Keystone."
"So, you're going to be a second-year, right?" Robert asked.
"Yes, and I am excellent in math and physical education you know," answered Mirai back.
"Wow, I'm good in math, too," Robert positively responded, "but not that good in physical education unfortunately."
"Is that so?" "Yeah, I'm only good in world geography and history."
After that, Mirai told him about her nickname, Sharp Blade, because of her accuracy and timing.
"Woah, that sounds so cool," Robert commented. "You have a cool nickname,"
"Yeah, just because my classmates called me like that," Mirai retorted back. "Anyhow, I want to beat Sol-san."
"Why?"
"It's because he is so fast in dodging," Mirai replied back, "so I want to break his record."
"I don't think he is the fastest of all," Robert responded with some skepticism. "Yeah, but still, I want to beat him in that."
"I see. Good luck with that."
But, Mirai responded to Robert that she wants to train with him right now, but Robert responded, "Really? It's night time. We should do it first thing tomorrow morning. Is that okay?"
Realizing that, Mirai eventually agreed with him, and he and Robert parted ways to their respective residences so they could rest up for the night.
