Third person POV
A few days had passed, on the night before the sixth day of their stay in Saheda, Robert was at the palace gardens looking at the stars in the clear sky when Sol came to him to talk to him.
"Robert," he greeted.
Hearing his voice, Robert turned to his left, only to see that it was Sol who said that.
"Oh, hey, Headmaster Sol, good evening," Robert greeted back. "What's up?"
Then, seeing an opportunity to find out more about the Strength of the Hidden Ender Eye, Robert brought that topic to him in their conversation. "I felt a big boost in my lightning magic and some abilities had been unlocked without my knowledge."
"Oh, that?" Sol responded. "That would what me and a few masters call it, Strength of the Hidden Ender Eye."
Robert was stunned to hear that, and the word 'Ender' really reminded him of the game Minecraft in his previous life.
He then thought, "Is that a reference to that game?"
After that thought, Sol explained about in full detail, "That ability enhances any existing magical ability to its higher power and unlocks abilities that are higher in tier and difficulty."
"Oh," Robert get it now.
"But, that one is not temporary," Sol continued on. "That's permanent, and you can use that to enhance your magical abilities to gain an upper hand."
"Wow, that sounds cool," Robert commented.
"Yes, but on the downside," Sol continued on, "it requires a lot of mana, so be careful when using it."
"That makes a lot of sense," Robert replied back. "But there's another thing I want to say to you."
"Okay, what is it?"
"It's all about Lightning Rod and an ability that are more like a mixture of lightning and wind magic."
"Oh, the last part?"
Robert then nodded to say yes.
"That's called Ion Blade, a very rare hybrid ability," Sol explained in response. "It's a combination of both lightning and wind magic. It is a Tier-10 ability."
Robert seems to get what his headmaster had explained about that rare ability that only those who both had lightning and wind magic can do.
He then commented, "Wow, that was awesome. So it requires a metal weapon, too?"
"Yes, so it would work properly," Sol responded back.
"Okay," Robert replied. "But I probably don't know how I can do that again though. I mean, I did that without knowing what am I doing."
Sol then placed his right hand on Robert' left shoulder and reassured to him, "Don't worry, Robert, you can figure out how to do that yourself. Just read and learn, okay?"
Eventually, glancing at Sol, Robert nodded and responded, "Okay, I can do this. I'll study more about that ability and master it."
"That's the spirit."
After some time, Sol told him to go back to the guesthouse and get some rest because they will leave for Kita by tomorrow morning at 8.
Robert obliged, and he said to him, "Okay, good night."
He then went back to the guesthouse to rest up for the night.
After that, Sol starting to walk around the garden while contemplating about what his stepdaughter had done, only to see Dan talking to Blaise. Dan apologizes to her for his past prejudice towards her because of her mother.
"It's okay, grandpa," Blaise responded positively as she understands her grandfather's feelings. "I understand. You know, your family is more important than your pride."
"Thanks," Dan replied back. "You know, I liked how your mother made the right decision to marry your father. They seemed to be a good, decent couple."
Blaise smiled in feeling being appreciated by her grandfather.
Hearing all that conversation, Sol walked up to them and expressed his appreciation that they reconciled to one another.
Dan and Blaise then looked at him, and Dan responded with, "Thanks, Mr. Sol, I'm sorry for last time."
"Please, you don't have to apologize again," Sol objected. "You already did that at the meeting."
"Yeah, sorry."
After that, Dan asked Blaise how she raised Robert to be a fine boy.
To that Blaise admitted, "I kinda spoiled him, a lot."
Upon hearing that, Dana was a bit upset by it, but Sol reassured to him that Robert never got into trouble.
But Dan was pretty worried. "But, I am worried about his two-faced nature having an effect on the people around him."
In response, Sol replied with an explanation, "Well, being two-faced can be beneficial. For instance, it allows a person to be more adaptable to any situation that calls a specific personality and emotional response to it."
"Oh, I get it," Dan responded while nodding in agreeing.
"Yes," Sol replied back, "but nonetheless, Robert is a fine, well-behaving student at my academy. He's going to be in second-year."
"I see," Dan responded.
"Yeah, he's good at studying, too," Blaise added in response.
After that, Dan bowed his head towards Blaise and Sol. "Please, take care of him. He is so valuable to us and to the Lightningheart clan."
To that Blaise and Sol exchanged looks at each other, before Sol would respond, "Okay, we'll do our best."
Dan then raised his head from bowing. "Thank you."
After some time, they all went back to their respective homes to rest up for the tomorrow's trip.
