Robert's POV
At 5:57 p.m., as the sun was nowhere to be seen, I was at the estate's training area sharpening my katana skills with Blaise and Sol while Jeremiah and most of my friends are training somewhere in this palace complex.
"Alright then, that's enough now," Sol said to me, as if I trained up too long.
Upon hearing that, I interrupted my training and glanced at Headmaster Sol.
"What? I want to keep going until 7," I responded back in resisting.
"No, you might be overworking yourself," Blaise said to me while looking concerned. "You need to rest for tomorrow."
"Come on, guys," I retorted. "This fight might be hard, so I need to train a bit more."
"Now, now, Robert," Sol responded back. "That would only be a detriment for your efficiency and skills if you kept on training without taking any breaks."
Realizing this mistake, I sighed in defeat and apologized to them for being stubborn.
"That's okay, don't push yourself, okay?" Sol replied.
"Okay," I responded back.
Just then, we heard the voice saying, "Hello there, Lightningheart."
Alerted by it, we looked to our left, only to see an Old Faction standing on a tree branch. We can't see his face because it was dark here.
"You!" I responded with hostility.
"What are you doing here, Old Faction member?" Sol asked in response.
Blaise then went to me and outstretched her left arm in defending me from that Old Faction member.
"Wow, she is overprotective of me," I thought.
Me, Headmaster Sol, and Blaise then summoned our magic in self-defense.
But then, the Old Faction member revealed his face and flew down in front of us, revealing to be the same Lightheart as the one we encountered a few days ago.
"You're that Lightheart member…," I responded to this.
"What do you want from us?" Blaise demanded an explanation while showing her serious hostility. "Huh?"
"Do you want to join us?" the Lightheart responded back while offering a hand to us. "We'll give any position you desire the most."
But, I knew that one is an act of manipulation so they would gain an upper hand against us.
Blaise then slapped the Lightheart's hand away. "No way! We knew your clan's true nature, you selfish brat."
Realizing that his clan's true nature has been known by us, the Lightheart angrily responded, "How did you know that?"
He then looked at Headmaster Sol and continued, "You. Did you just…?"
"Yes, I did," Sol replied back seriously, "so they would know your clan's true colors."
Angered by this, the Lightheart responded, "You little…!"
"We don't want to," I replied boldly and seriously as I held my katana with my right hand. "You're trying to trick us, aren't you?"
Realizing that his plan had failed, he scoffed at us. "Fine then, you bunch of lowlifes. You'll regret this."
Once again he revealed his wings and flew high into the night.
After that, Headmaster Sol said to me and Blaise, "Luckily we managed to resist him."
He and Blaise then dissipated their magic.
"Yeah." I put my katana down and dissipated my magic simultaneously. "I see that coming."
"You're quite a man now, Robert-kun." Blaise placed her left arm on my right shoulder.
"Big sis! That's embarrassing!" I responded to this.
Blaise then chuckled a bit, so as Headmaster Sol.
"Okay, let's go back," Sol said to me and Blaise. "It's getting late now."
Me and Blaise then nodded in agreement, and we and Headmaster Sol walked back to our guesthouse to rest a little bit before taking a bath at the bathhouse.
