Chapter 96 - Chapter 96 – Plans for a Spring Break

Third person POV

Quarter of an hour had passed, and Tadashi brought the topic about the plans for the month-long spring break, which was three months from now, and he asked, "So, what's your plans this spring break, guys? Because I was thinking about going back to Kita for a week-long visit."

"Oh, nothing in particular," answered Robert back. "Just nothing but training and helping out at my older sister's potion shop."

"Wait, what? You have an older sister?" Tanaka asked back.

"Yes, and her name is Blaise," William explained back. "She runs a potion shop, which was inherited from her father."

"Oh, so she's an alchemist?" Tadashi asked back.

"Yes, for more than 10 years," replied Robert.

"I see."

After that, Robert expressed his desire to go to Saheda to meet the Windheart clan.

"Oh, you want to go there?" Tadashi responded back. "That'll be a five days' journey."

"It's okay, it doesn't matter how long," Robert confidently replied back, "as long as we get there."

"Wow, he's determined," Tanaka thought in his mind about Robert's character. "Much like Mirai-chan."

"Okay then, spring break will be a great time to go on trips," Tadashi responded.

"Yes, and I'll prepared the transport for all of us," Zarah responded to this.

"Are you sure about that?" Robert asked, doubting about Zarah's willingness to sacrifice her resources.

"Yeah, since you're also a part of my clan," Zarah replied.

"Oh, right, right."

Then, William said, "Well, we'll come, too. I want to see their Desert Towers."

"Desert Towers?" Robert asked back.

Then, Peter explained, "Those are watchtowers made of sandstone. They're common in Saheda, especially at the borders."

"Oh," Robert responded in understanding.

"Yeah, I want to see that, too," Harold responded with a bit of enthusiasm. "I never went outside of my kingdom before, so I want to travel and explore."

"Sure thing, Harold-kun," Robert agreed with him.

"I don't want to come," Emma objected in response. "I'll rather train up so I could beat Robert."

The rest then looked at her with surprised looks on their faces.

"Are you sure, sis?" Peter asked back.

"You'll miss the fun we will be having," William added.

"Yeah, it's boring," answered Emma back.

"Really? You're souring the mood," Robert responded to this.

"Shut up, you peasant!" Emma shouted back at him.

Then, Tadashi intervened and said to them, "Now, now, you two, don't fight in my house."

"Yeah, you two, that's not nice," Tanaka added.

Eventually, Robert and Emma stopped fighting and sulked at each other.

Tanaka then sighed in disappointment.

William then bowed his head a bit for a few seconds and apologized to Tanaka and Tadashi for Robert and Emma's bickering attitude.

"That's okay, William-kun," Tanaka responded with reassurance. "It wasn't your fault."

"Thanks."

Then, after that, Robert asked Tadashi about the Saberheart clan members' positions and careers.

"Oh, their careers?" answered Tadashi in response. "Aside from their roles in government, most of them owned top-notch businesses and forged melee weapons. I owned a weapons business in this town, while my younger sister is working as a nurse at one of Kita's capital city hospitals."

"Wow, the weapons industry?" Robert responded back.

Tadashi then nodded. "Yes, we are the most dominant group."

To that Robert thought in his mind, "I think they hold a monopoly on that industry."

He then looked at the grandpa clock, only to be surprised that it was past 5 already. "What? It's already past 5?"

"Woah, what's wrong?" Tanaka asked back. "You're going home already?"

"Yeah, I supposed to do some training before 6," replied Robert as he grabbed his messenger bag. "My older sister must be waiting for me at the woods."

Then, William realized that his time for training for administration had already passed, and he stand up and said to the rest, "I had to go home, too. I forgot my training, too." Then to Emma, "Emma-chan, let's go."

"Okay," Emma responded, before grabbing her bag and stand up.

And then, Harold realized that he supposed to be at Sol's home before 6, so he stand up, grabbed his messenger bag, and said to them, "The headmaster will be angry at me if I came home late. I gotta go now."

Eventually, Zarah and Peter, too, grabbed their bags, and stand up, saying to Tanaka and Tadashi, "Thanks for everything. We have to go now."

"Okay, thanks for being friends with my nephew," Tadashi responded with gratitude.

"Bye, guys!" Tanaka wavered goodbye to them.

With that Robert and his friends left the house and went home, ending the long tea time.
