Third person POV
Later, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, after another regular class, Robert, William, and Emma, alongside Harold and some of their classmates, went to Masanori's weapons class, which was held at another courtyard reserved for that subject. They do that whenever the weather was nice and sunny, but if it rains, they'll just go to a sheltered classroom instead. All of them are standing under the sun.
"Good afternoon, everyone," Masanori greeted positively and brightly.
Robert and the others then greeted back, "Good afternoon, Masanori-sensei."
"Are you all ready for your first lessons in sword fighting?" Masanori asked back.
Then, short answers of "Yes" permeated across the sunny courtyard.
"Good," Masanori responded back. "Seems all of you are fit for this class. As you can see, this class will make you more prepared for any journey or adventure. It's because, outside of our cities, towns, and villages, there are deadly monsters that await for any human who were foolish enough to trek without a weapon. That's why this class is considered essential for anyone who wants to go on an adventure."
After Masanori said that, most of the students get what he had said.
"Okay, I'll be giving each of you a weapon based on your choice," Masanori said to them. "You'll be using them until the end of class."
Then, Masanori's personal assistant, who had been holding various weapons from the start, went on to give each of the participating students a weapon based on their choice and preference. William got a regular sword, while Emma got a pair of battle axes. Of course, Robert got a katana as his class weapon because he left his at home. Harold got a regular sword, too.
After that, as his personal assistant went back to his position, Masanori began his first lesson in sword fighting by teaching the basics in position and stance.
Moments later, the students are doing their stance and position while holding their chosen weapons in accordance to Masanori's instructions. Some are struggling while others seemed to be comfortable and satisfied despite the lesson's level of difficulty.
Robert and William are very determined to do this, wanting to go on adventures and fight monsters.
Emma seems to struggle a bit, but Masanori gave her some advice on her first lessons. This time, she was not stubborn, and just followed her instructor's advice.
Harold was also determined, wanting to be strong and skillful like his eldest brother Arnold.
As the students kept on training in their first lessons, Sol and Cedric watches this from the second floor of the building via the cloister.
"Wow, seems that everyone is having a good time," Cedric commented.
"Yes, they are, especially Robert." Sol glanced at him.
He and Cedric then left the cloister and into the deep part of the building.
Along the way, Cedric asked Sol if he was interested in Robert.
"Yes, I am," Sol answered back.
"Why is that?" asked Cedric back. "Why him?"
"I considered him as special and valuable," Sol explained in response. "That's why I wanted to put him in high-leveled and dangerous missions, not because of his noble birth, but because of his skills."
"Ah, I see. Are you sure about that?"
"His skills will improve over time."
"Okay then, if it was your wish."
By the end of that short conversation, they had reached Sol's office, and Sol opened the doors, and went in, while Cedric went to the teacher's office to do some paperwork.
