#Chapter 102
Evelyn
I fall asleep and wake up to a dark evening. Stumbling out of bed I get downstairs and don't see Warren anywhere.
Reaching for my phone that's on the coffee table I call him but the service is low.
Going from room to room, I search for him but his tall build is nowhere to be found.
Worry circles my heart in a tight grip and I feel suffocated.
/"You're up./" I turn around and find him stepping out of a back door.
Getting on my feet I rush to him and assess his body with my frantic eyes, looking for any injuries.
/"Evelyn./"
/"I got worried because I couldn't find you,/" I admit.
Fighting a smile he takes my elbows and pulls me in a hug. A safe warm hug that feels perfect. I don't ever want him to ever let go.
My hands rest over his chest and I nuzzle into his chest.
/"Okay?/"
/"No./" I lie so he doesn't let go of me.
