Ryder took the syringe. He heaved a deep, heavy breath and located one of his veins. Adrian helped him once; not just once. He owed his life to him and won't just stand still and watch him suffer. He was going to do anything he could to pay him and bring an end to this mystery even if it meant that he was going to die. He doesn't care. His friend life is what that matters most.
He closed his eyes, attempting to inject himself, but was halted by a very loud thud that resonated from his computer room. His eyes opened in confusion and fear of what might have happened. He flung the syringe away and burst out of the room to his computer room.
He swung the door opened and hurried to his computer just to see the thing he had switched off earlier turned on again and this time something was quite off. The building was on fire and he could hear the agonizing scream of people burning in flame.
