That realization came as Neve went up the stairs past Erin's cage and entered the next floor. Simply put, there were just too many enemies here.
At the back of this floor, overlooking the pool of lava to the left, was an arken holding a crossbow. Pacing back and forth throughout the room were two arkens with serrated knives, and guarding the staircase opposite the one Neve was peeking out from was a slightly larger arken with both its meaty hands wrapped around a giant hammer.
All of which were over level 50, of course.
