After inspecting Jose, Zeke was surprised as he was already over level 30.
"Haha boy are you lost? What are you looking at? Are you here to deliver the beautiful girl standing behind you?" Jose asked with a slight smile on his face while looking at Zeke.
After mentioning the stunning lady standing behind Zeke, the other men turned around to steal a glance at her.
"Wow, she really is beautiful." Said one of the guys.
"I can't wait to try her after the boss." Said another.
A few of the other men stared at Olivia and completely ignored Zeke's presence.
Zeke felt a surge of anger and disgust rising within him at the men's lecherous comments about Olivia. He stepped forward, shielding Olivia behind him.
"No, we're not here to deliver anyone. We're just passing through," Zeke replied, his voice low and threatening.
Jose laughed. "Well, if you're just passing through, why don't you stay for a while? We could use some entertainment."
Zeke's eyes narrowed as he noticed the other men starting to close in on him and Olivia. He didn't like the way they were looking at her, and he wasn't about to let them lay a hand on her.
Without a word, Zeke stepped forward and swung a hard right hook at the nearest man, catching him off guard and sending him sprawling to the ground. The others hesitated for a moment before rushing in to attack.
Zeke moved with incredible speed, evading their attacks with ease as he weaved and dodged their punches and strikes. In response, he delivered lightning-quick punches and kicks, swiftly taking out multiple attackers with each blow. Meanwhile, Olivia stayed behind, observing with a mix of awe and apprehension, ready to use her healing abilities at a moment's notice.
Despite their numbers, the men were no match for Zeke's skill and agility. Within minutes, they lay on the ground groaning and moaning, their faces bruised and bloodied.
Jose watched the fight with a small smile on his face as if he found the whole thing amusing. When the last man fell, he stood up and clapped slowly.
"Very impressive, my friend," he said. "You have some skills. Perhaps you would like to join our faction?"
Zeke snorted. "I'd sooner join the zombies. No thanks."
Jose chuckled. "Suit yourself. But I think you'll find that survival on your own is much harder than you think."
Without warning, Jose lunged at Zeke, and the two of them began to trade blows. Zeke managed to dodge most of Jose's punches and kicks, but he was unable to land a solid hit in return. Jose was too quick and too skilled for him.
The fight continued for several minutes, with both men giving and taking blows. Eventually, Jose managed to get the upper hand and slammed Zeke into the wall, causing a huge dent. Zeke groaned in pain but managed to push himself back up and continue fighting.
Olivia activated her skill, Slow Restoration when she noticed Zeke getting back up and continuing the fight. A luminous sphere flew towards Zeke and engulfed his body with a radiant white light, healing his wounds and replenishing his energy.
As the healing energy filled his body, Zeke felt his energy and wounds being restored. He knew he had to up his game, so he pulled out his bat and joined forces with Fang to take down Jose. Together, they fought with ferocity and determination, exchanging blows with the faction leader.
Jose was caught off guard by the sudden charge of Zeke and Fang. However, he regained his composure and swiftly avoided Zeke's bat. In retaliation, he delivered a fierce kick to Fang, sending him hurtling through the air and crashing into the ground.
Zeke gritted his teeth and swung his bat again, but Jose easily dodged it and delivered a swift kick to Zeke's stomach, knocking the wind out of him. Zeke stumbled backward, but quickly regained his balance and charged at Jose again.
The two men traded blows, with Zeke managing to land a few hits on Jose. But Jose was a seasoned fighter and was able to block most of Zeke's attacks. Eventually, Jose managed to get the upper hand and grabbed Zeke by the arm, tossing him into the wall with incredible force.
There was a loud crack as Zeke's body smashed into the concrete, leaving a huge spiderweb crack in the wall. Zeke groaned in pain as he struggled to get up. He knew he was outmatched, but he refused to give up.
Zeke understood the significance of leveling up and knew he needed to gain more power due to the level difference, especially after this fight.
Zeke surged forward with a burst of speed, determined to take down Jose. He managed to land a few solid hits on his opponent, causing him to falter. While Jose was momentarily distracted, Fang seized the opportunity and lunged forward, biting down hard on Jose's arm. The sharp teeth of the beast pierced through Jose's skin, causing him to cry out in pain.
Jose yanked Fang off his arm and flung him aside, wincing in pain. As he glared at Zeke, he saw Olivia's healing abilities at work and knew he had to eliminate Zeke quickly to get the healing himself.
Zeke was starting to feel exhausted, but he didn't let up his attack. He swung his bat with all his might, landing a few more blows on Jose. Jose was quick, but Zeke was able to dodge his attacks and counter with his own.
Finally, Zeke saw an opening and took it. With a powerful swing, he landed the killing blow on Jose, sending him crashing into the wall with a sickening thud. Jose's body slumped to the ground, lifeless.
Zeke stood over his fallen enemy, panting heavily. He had won the fight, but at what cost? He looked around at the room, which was now littered with the bodies of multiple women who were tortured, used, and then discarded. He and Fang were also injured, but with Olivia's healing, they would recover.
Zeke knelt down beside Jose's body and searched him for any useful items. He found a set of keys that he assumed would unlock some of the doors in the station. He also found a map of the surrounding area, which would be useful for navigation.
Additionally, when Zeke searched Jose's medium storage ring there were various treasure orbs and six common upgrade fragments, and two uncommon upgrade fragments. He stored all the loot in his new storage ring.
At this time he also heard an announcement.

Zeke couldn't help but feel a sense of ease. He had gained a lot from this encounter and he would be able to recruit the remaining survivors to his Faction.
As he stood up and turned to leave, he saw Luke in the corner of the room slumped down on his knees crying as he held a middle-aged woman in his arms.
