Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Ten Day Protection Arrangement

Just then, the man holding her muttered a few words, and the hard object between her legs nudged her private area, while the large hand on her plump buttocks began to grope.

Her seductive body stiffened, and she suddenly pushed away from Qi Bei, leaping aside like a frightened rabbit.

Qi Bei was pushed back and hit his head against the cave wall. Rubbing his head in pain, he exclaimed, "Wow, you're trying to kill your own husband! You hug me and cling to me like crazy when you need me, but then you just kick me away when you're done. Is this fair?"

"It's you… you saved me?" Seeing that it was Qi Bei, Yao Rao felt relieved for some reason. But how did he break free from her Wind Binding Technique?

"Nonsense. I will forgive you for using me as bait and clinging to me until I almost froze to death, but you repay me with ungratefulness. " Qi Bei looked wronged. He wasn't aware that she had lost her magic power, so he was afraid that she would chop him to pieces if she got angry.

Yao Rao snorted coldly and glanced at Qi Bei's bulging crotch.

"Uh, this is a normal physiological reaction. Don't you understand? Men are like this in the morning. It's not my fault." Qi Bei explained righteously.

"Did you do anything to me last night?" Yao Rao pointed her magic wand at Qi Bei's chest.

"What could I do to a block of ice?" Qi Bei retorted.

"That's good. Actually, I hoped you would do something." Yao Rao walked up to Qi Bei and lifted his chin.

Watching Qi Bei's Adam's apple move up and down, Yao Rao laughed lightly.

Qi Bei looked sad and angry. He was being teased. As a man, how could he tolerate this? So he pushed Yao Rao away.

But when he pushed her, both he and Yao Rao were stunned.

"I didn't mean to do that. It just happened…" Qi Bei gestured with his hand, his palm still touching her chest.

Yao Rao's icy blue eyes glared at him fiercely, wanting to teach him a lesson, but she couldn't do it now.

Qi Bei was already very smart, it only took him a second to realize and he suddenly chuckled, "You lost your magic power?"

"Even if I lose my magic power, killing you would be as easy as turning over my hand. Do you want to try?" Yao Rao spoke in a coquettish voice, which was charmingly provocative, but she was a little uneasy in her heart.

"You can bluff all you want. I won't play with you anymore. Here, take back this Undead Bead. From now on, you go your way and I'll go mine." Qi Bei threw the Undead Bead that had fallen out of the ghost's possession back to Yao Rao and turned around to leave the cave.

"You, stop." Yao Rao's enchanting voice sounded, even though it was sweet and gentle to hear, there was an irresistible authority to it.

Qi Bei's body paused for a moment, he waved his hand at her with his back turned, then he continued on his way.

"Don't…don't go…" Yao Rao's tone softened, and she said with a hint of pleading.

Qi Bei stopped in response. Yao Rao's surrender satisfied his manly pride.

A peerless beauty, a high-ranking mage, even she had to resort to soft words to plead with him. Qi Bei had some experience in pursuing women, and the nobler the woman, the more he had to be tough.

No matter how powerful a woman was, she secretly longed for a stronger shoulder to rely on. If physical strength didn't work, then mental strength had to suffice.

"My body is afflicted with cold poison and will last for ten days. Within those ten days, I will lose all my magic power, and I need your protection," Yao Rao said, feeling strangely shy. A woman asking a man for protection was somewhat ambiguous in itself.

"But you're not my woman, why should I protect you?" Qi Bei turned around and laughed.

"To take advantage of someone's misfortune is not the act of a gentleman," Yao Rao replied.

"I'm not a gentleman, I'm just a man," Qi Bei smiled.

"You're just a boy!" Yao Rao looked at Qi Bei's slightly immature face and wanted to laugh, but his deep black eyes that were beyond his age made her unable to.

"The essence of a man is not in age but in here." Qi Bei pointed to his heart.

Yao Rao didn't hold back this time and smiled, her laughter was like a melody of nature.

"The essence of a man lies in whether he can attract women. If you can make me fall in love with you within these ten days, then why not become my man?" Yao Rao's eyes fluttered and she said charmingly.

"That doesn't seem fair." Qi Bei raised an eyebrow.

"There's a sense of accomplishment in challenges, that's what I expect in a man." Yao Rao challenged Qi Bei with her provocative gaze.

"You don't need to provoke me, I'll agree." Qi Bei shrugged. To make this fairy-like woman fall in love with him within ten days, even with the Dragon Mark placed in her soul, it seemed unlikely, but he decided to give it a try.

Until now, Qi Bei still didn't understand much about the extreme yang fire produced by his cultivation of the Divine Dragon Art. Although he knew that without a top-grade Yin element to balance it, the extreme yang fire would burn him to ashes, he was just beginning his cultivation and lacked awareness of the dangers.

With a charming smile and a seductive aura, Yao Rao looked at Qi Bei and asked, "Little Bei, where are we?"

"Little Bei?" Qi Bei shuddered inexplicably and quickly replied, "Please call me Qi Bei. When you call me 'Little Bei,' it feels like you're my mom."

Yao Rao was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter.

"You can call me 'mom.' I really want to have a handsome son like you." She chuckled enchantingly, her heaving chest looked even more enticing.

"Mom, can you give your son some milk?" Qi Bei smiled strangely, staring straight at the woman's ample breasts.

Yao Rao's coquettish laughter came to an abrupt halt, and she glared at Qi Bei, blushing.

The two of them were not far from the blood river, and it was already late at night with undead creatures wandering everywhere. It was fortunate that Qi Bei was able to find a cave in such a short amount of time.

"This place is not safe. We need to leave and move towards the outskirts of the Undead Mountain Range," Yao Rao said.

"I was thinking the same thing. The commotion last night was too loud, and this cave is too shallow. It will be easy to be discovered," Qi Bei replied. He had been surviving in the Undead Mountain Range for so long that he was even more cautious than Yao Rao.

With a longbow on his back and a knife in his hand, Qi Bei emerged from the cave. As soon as he came out, two wandering zombies came rushing toward him.

Without hesitation, Qi Bei swung his knife and beheaded the two creatures.

Yao Rao followed behind Qi Bei, watching him kill various undead along the way. She couldn't help but feel a sense of security she had never experienced before.

Since she was young, she had never tasted the feeling of being protected by someone.

She felt the same way when she was wandering outside, even after being taken in by her master. Her master had said that only in the harshest environment could a person's full potential be unleashed, and only in the face of life and death could one comprehend the true meaning of life.
