For some people, the sky is the region of the clouds or the upper air, the upper atmosphere of the earth, for other it is the heavens or firmament, appearing as a great arch or vault, for some of the more extreme, the sky is the supernal or celestial heaven.
But for me?, the sky is something I for sure didn't expect to see when I woke up today, what exactly is going on I ask myself, did I party so hard last night that I fell asleep in the middle of nowhere? yet as I tried to stand up and look at my surrounding I realize something was off about this place.
"Where in the world am I?" Chris now wild awake says the question out loud to no one in particular as he tries to make sense of the situation, Chris looks around in an attempt to find anything that seems familiar to him yet to no avail, the only thing he sees is the great open sea and the forest behind him
"This...looks like an island." His heart beat faster as he realizes he doesn't recognize the area, while he was about to panic a piece of paper fell from his clothing, and trying to calm himself down he pick it up and read it.
[This paper will explain to you {Christopher Gillespie} what is happening, but first I would like to congratulate you for being chosen to participate in this experiment of ours and I ensure you the data we will be able to obtain from you will prove itself valuable to not just us but to all of humanity, now let begin with the explanation.
1. This island contains bizarre properties as you will soon see in your travel, the exact detail of which will not be discussed in detail in this paper so you will have to find out yourself. {NOTE: in each day of the week new properties will take place on the island, we have brought you here on Monday because today is the day with the least amount of danger.}
2. As you may have already noticed we have decided to give you a necklace, the only thing I going to say about it is that it is the most important thing out of everything you have on your person and it is also the only thing that can help you lived and not just survive.
3. We have buried your supply under the sand at the place of your awakening and I would suggest you try to find it.
And the last, most important thing assuming you can reach the very center of the island, we will bring you out of the island and give you answers to any of your questions, we will also give you 50 million dollars to reward you for your time and effort.

"What the... Is this a joke? if so this isn't funny!"
As Chris was already panicking about this whole thing and now that he sees the note saying something along the line of 'Oh you are now part of an experiment and you should be glad.' not only that but what is written in the paper implies that this experiment could be fatal!
"I am definitely... not UPSET about this in the slightest, I mean OF COURSE their data being useful for humanity is VERY obviously justified in kidnapping someone and dumping them on an island in the middle of god only knows what ocean this is!!!"
Chris is lying. Because someone who is not upset will not yell loudly and sarcastically, like what he is doing at this very moment, but as he soon calms down he begins to think about his next cause of action.
'Since they say that they want my data, it would be safer to assume that I am always being watched or monitored somehow... god damn it as if being on a random island isn't enough for me to think about, and now I gonna have a nightmare about being watched while going to the non-existing toilet too?'
And as he thinks so he begins to dig down on the sand trying to find the supplies he is supposedly given.

"I finally found it."

"At least I won't stave for a while"
Chris says to himself as he begins to think.
'For now, let's scout the area for any sign of life and potential item if I can get something like a stick or rock that should be good enough, there is also something about my necklace being the most important so I should be keeping it somewhere safe... The backpack will do'
And so he begins inspecting the surrounding area, walking, running, crawling, sneaking, seeking anything that seems like it will be of interest, But there were non, no sign of life nothing at all.
If Chris had to guess, it would be that the one that put him in this situation has cleaned up the area of anything that could be of use, and if what the note says can be believed, especially since they seem like they want him to go to the center so much, this will also encourage him to go into the forest to and therefor get closer toward the center.
And so he makes up his mind and decided to go into the forest, warily so
As he walks in he makes marks on the trees just in case he wants to come back to the beach again but as time pass.

His tension is now gone he no longer feels the need to fear, he knows now that it is just a waste of energy and time, why should he be fearful of something he can't control? why should he be angst about something he cannot change?

But Chris didn't listen and take off his backpack to prepare a meal of canned food, taking them out one by one to see what he should eat.
"I wonder what should I eat Canned tuna, shrimp, sardines, salmon, chicken, or baked beans? Ohh there are also Canned corn, green beans, mushrooms, carrots, and beets, Good Lord they give me a lot."

But as he took out the food his hand happen to touch the necklace.

The voice stops. quite and peace is the only thing that is left.
"What was that voice!" now Chris with his mind in clarity realizes what happened to him, 'the voice that clearly does not understand even the basic persuading tactic is affecting me? and to such a high degree of influence at that?'
'They say the necklace is the most important thing I own, is this what they mean? at the very same moment, my hand comes into contact with it, and the voice is gone.'
Now Chris looks at the necklace he is holding and sees that a part of it has changed, at the bottom of the clear transparent white of the crystal a meager light blue color emerges from it, and the crystal now also shines slightly.
Nonetheless, even with this abnormality, Chris no longer hesitates and puts on the necklace as quickly as he can, afraid that if he takes any more of his sweet time just thinking and doing nothing else he might get affected by the voice again.
How very lucky of Chris, has it not been because of his [GLUTTONY] who knows what might happen to him... very lucky indeed.
Chris now equipped with his necklace is trying to calm down his distressed heart from the encounter, it takes some time but eventually, he calms down.
"Ok so... I am going to assume that what I just experienced is the 'bizarre properties.' the note was talking about, not to mention it says 'today is the day with the least amount of danger.' if this is the least then what in the hell is the worst!?"
"Now now take a deep breath and now slow exhale good... fine if this is my life now I might as well do my best to live, and panicking is not a good way of doing that so I really should try to be calmer."
Unfortunately for Chris, he is but a normal man that gets kidnap and is being thrown down on an island that has many things that could take his life, so maybe becoming calmer will take a bit of time, but he has to for if he doesn't he... well who know what gonna happen.
"Let's eat before I continue, I need as much energy as I can just in case."

This is gonna be my first time trying to write something this big so yeah, I am not sure how good this is or how it gonna be but the only reason I am in the spirity contest is to give myself more motivation to actually write something AND finish it.
Not to mention I consider this a way to train myself, my ability to make a normal sentence which in turn will improve my English which is something I NEED right now since I read too much MTL and it making my brain rot so I hope this will help me recover.
So don't expect too much, turn off your brain and try to enjoy? if you still can't enjoy it just tell me the problems, my head might be a bit rotten and I am a bit stupid but I will try to improve as much as possible.
Don't expect fast update too now I got quite a bit of free time but that gonna change as soon as I go back to school! ah my greatest enemy.
Joke aside though if you read this and still deciding to stay I thank you a lot because the more people support me the more unlikely it is for me to back down since I will feel like I betrayed all of you and then I will get all depressed and what not so yeah.
