Luke asked, "Are you okay?"
Persie turned and met his eyes, "Is this a real question, Luke?"
"It was just a horse," Luke said.
"If you think this is just about a horse, then you're even more blind than I thought. And you're definitely not the person I thought you were," Persie said before standing up and leaving.
Luke stood up in a hurry and held his wrist, "Persie..."
Persie pulled back his hand and said, "Don't touch me. You're the one who wanted me to leave you alone. That's what I did and I'll thank you to do the same."
"I can't do that," Luke said.
"Why not?" Persie yelled frustrated.
Luke took a step forward and kissed him. He brushed their lips together and wrapped his arm around his waist. After a few seconds, Persie kissed him back.
