Same old, same old! That is all I can say. I am so excited. Getting to travel the world and learn history of each place in person but in the process I had to do history essays for English and history. Being home schooled is great and all but I just never got the chance to interact with others my age. This time my new adventure is going to a public school for my last two years of high school. Always moving and working while I am being homeschooled is what worked for us but now that we have more people working for us we can get a base operation to go.
My full name is Phoenix Zeva Winter and only 15 years old. Feel free to call me a nerd if you want but keep in mind I can and will kick your ass. As for my childhood we traveled a lot and I got to meet a lot of people. Some of these people would train with my family, even as my father and uncles taught me. Instead of being rude like some clients would when they saw a child, these people taught me what they knew. Added on to what knowledge and skills my family was parting me.
This decision about staying in one area was made after they hired, trained and put together multiple teams. My father and uncles being the first team as well as the oringal. I even had a team that works with me. I trained and lead this team. Everyone that works with us is now a part of a family.
For every choice we make that effects our lives and the business we do a meeting. So here we sit talking to make a decision on.
"Phoenix," dad said. "The plan is to have you in public school for your last two years. Also we are going to have the business run out of the house so you can still be involved. Only on emergency cases will our team or your s will get involved on jobs. However, during the summer we are going to be very active."
"On that note," Mark respond. "You will be getting yourself organized out since you been more werewolves finding you. They are drawn and since this is the case you will learn more about your heritage. Learn about who and what you are. All of them accept you as an alpha and their leader who is taking care of them. What you have been doing lately by taking them in and giving them a chance. By doing this you have started what seems to be like a pack of warriors with a mix of humans who also swear to you as their leader."
"What we are getting at Phoenix," Dad continued," is that you need to learn and start to be the leader you are for the people who see you as their leader. You need to create a home for them to come back to. We raised you to be a fighter, a warrior till the end. Taught you what we could so that you can fight for and protect what you see as right. These people come to you with their problems to find a place for acceptance. You give them that chance and by doing that you have created bonds stronger than anything we have seen."
"Also what you do to connect with them," Mark builds on to my father's statement. "Since you have created the bonds they follow your lead. When they're in trouble they turn to you and for that I have seen how you have become a great leader to these people. All we ask for you to do is create a base or more of a home. So we are going to find a big piece of property. This way you can build what you need for everyone and have a place that will be called yours."
"So your next assignment that you have to do is find a place, design one main house that can have bed rooms with bathrooms connected, and office for the business as well as for your use," Phil continued. "If there is any other building or other facilities you think may be need draw them up. This is going to be home for all of our people and everyone who have chosen to follow you. So whatever you have in mind show us with the cost, location and what can be offered. However we will be choosing what public school you are going to."
"Okay," I said. "So you want me to find some property that large enough to house everyone who chose to be part of my pack. Draw up all the buildings and figure out the cost for material and builders. Also if anyone wants a house so they can start their own family we can provide. I figure for each family that would need a place it can come through me and I can put together a package of everything to the choices of paying back. On top of that you want me to learn more about my heritage and the inner workings of the pack. Am I correct?"
"Yes my dear wolf angel daughter," my father said.
"Also while you do that," Phil said. "We will be making plans and calling our people in that are finished with their mission. That way they know what is going on and those on the mission will be informed so they know where to come afterwards."
"Once you find a place," James said, "either already built or land with the plans on a structures to be built. Just know that we are proud of you and wish that you have experience with those around your age. "
"Alright I understand," I responded. "So the time frame I will give you is tomorrow after dinner. I will have a property and plans done up including all cost for everything."
Everyone shook their heads yes in agreement.
"Well," I said, "if that is all. I am going to head out and start doing searches. I will be in my room if you need me for anything."
Upstairs in my room I sketched a house that covers everything we would need. This included a gym as the basement. First floor includes a kitchen, dining room, library, game room, living room and a theater. Second floor included the offices, briefing room, conference room, and stress relief and computer room. the third, fourth and fifth floor housed all of the bed rooms that I designed with two walk in closets one for weapons and the other for clothes with a dresser built in. these bedrooms each includes a bathroom as well. On each floor there is a cleaning closet as well. The attic I designed for hobbies and roof access. Now the roof was a little tricky, I thought of turning it into a snipers nest with a helicopter landing. Also as I thought it through for the basement, first floor and the second I included at least two bathrooms in the floor plan. After I finished sketching it out I looked over all of the drawings and counter out the rooms to seven all together.
During the meeting I had thought about what was needed for us and the four teams in our family business. I knew we need a lot of space and have woods around us. Our business has employed both werewolves and humans. The werewolves all see me as their alpha and no matter what I say they will not change their minds. So when they began to work for my family business I had started each of them their own bank account even though they all wanted to refuse. However I told them that the bottom line is that it is their money for working as employees in my family business and this way if they need anything personal they can buy it. I did say if they want me to manage their accounts that I would and all they have to do is to bring me their receipts so that I can go over everything.
As for the humans that works for us, well let say they feel as if I am their leader as well. Yes I saved them and know about the werewolves as well but they are just as loyal as the werewolves. To the point that even they call me alpha. See all the werewolves and humans that work for our family business have bonded in a sense of a big family. The werewolves call it a pack and do not care if there is humans apart of it. All I know is that they all look at me when it comes down to a major decision. Even the humans asked me to manage their bank accounts. Honestly I do not mind for the simple fact that I finish all of that while I do my school work as well.
I also know for a fact that once we have a base of operation that everyone will be more excited because we will have a stationary home. No more moving around. During one of our jobs we had ran into a pack. I will always remember that day.
Flashback
'Phoenix we have a problem,' mind linked David.
'That would be?' I inquired.
'We crossed into a packs land while tracking down the rouges that killed that family,' responded David responded back to me.
'I am on my way,' I said. 'Ask for their alpha to meet at the border and warn them that if they take you to a cell I will not hesitate in doing harm to them. Also inform the have a reason why we had cross their borders and that I will take to their alpha about it do for the fact that their pack may be in danger.'
'Yes alpha,' David complied with me.
My team full out ran to his side with humans on our backs so we could cover a large distance. By the time we arrived the alpha was there pissed off. As for David, well it looked like he had took a beating and I saw red. In mid-stride I had shift with furry on my face all the others gasp that I had clothes on when in reality everyone shifts back to the way they were born, bare ass naked.
"What the fuck have you done?" I boomed at the alpha who now stood in front of me.
"I beat the fuck out of a rouge that entered my land," he responded.
"Oh, really. Is that how you treat someone who has been tracking a fucking pack of rouges who have been murdering both humans and werewolves?" I snarled. "How about the fact that I had told him to inform your men that I was coming to brief you on the danger to your pack? Or better yet how we tracked the rouges near to your pack land? Do you have any idea about these rouges or where they are?"
The alpha looked shocked and had nothing to say to me.
"Well fucking answer me all might fuck up alpha," I growled. "Or did your men even fucking listen to David here? Did they fucking tell you anything?"
Everyone was on edge as I my anger radiated off of me. Everyone felt the danger but David calmly got out of the man's hold that had him on the ground kneeling. He approach with caution knowing that my alpha side was kicking in because of a pack mate was injured. As he approach his injuries healed and the Alpha of this land saw that.
"Who are you?" he sked.
"I am not answering that stupid question," I stated. "David is that pack of rouges near here?"
"No," he said. "They were here about an hour ago but took off along this border. I was following it when these wolves attacked me."
"Have you lost the trail or do you think you can pick it up?" I asked.
"Oh I can pick it up," he said.
"Alright I want you and the rest of the team find those murdering assholes immediately," I order them. "If it looks like they are resting for the night inform me. If not attack and tell me where you are so I can come help you. Right now I am taking care of this business and teach an alpha the true meaning of rage. Than I am going to teach these stupid ass of warriors about hearing out what another has to say that could have effected their pack. If you need help from me before you attack inform me immediately."
"Yes alpha Phoenix," he said with a smirk on his face. "I forgot to tell you alpha I am not a rouge but a pack wolf. Also this young lady is my alpha. Enjoy the lesson."
My team all took off following David in a formation of wolves on the hunt.
"You are an alpha?" the alpha questioned. "Impossible! Only males can be alpha, not a female. You are a disgrace."
"Hmm, so you claim I am not an alpha but I have eleven wolves that swore their loyalty to me and stands by my side as a pack," I stated. "Also I have seven humans who also claim me as their leader and the wolves as their brethren. I may not been raised in the werewolf culture but I do know one thing and that is respect to who has earned it. I will say this and listen closely. I did not ask to be their alpha. They claimed me as their alpha. By their choice I became their leader and alpha. As far as I am concerned I take care of my own. Now as for why we came so close to your damn fucking land and pack I will explain but in your fucking office."
"No you will explain now," He said.
"Well than let all ears hear what I have to saw including if it is an enemy who threatens your pack?" I inquired. "Or endangers your mate? Yes I can smell her off of you. What I have for you will help you out but if you do not want this information well I will go join my team. The choice is yours."
"Alright follow me," he gave in.
"How about a little introduction?" I stated. "I am Alpha Phoenix Zeva Winters of the Reaper warrior pack. We travel a lot due to my family business hitch is security. We have not settle down to a stationary spot as of yet but my dad plans to have me go to a public school for my last two years. Your turn."
"I am Alpha Richard Star of the North Star pack," Richard said. "My mates name is Lilly Star. She is my wife as well as the Luna of the pack. Our pack came to this land by following the North Star many years ago and founded by my great by eight grandpa."
"I am adopted," I replied at of the end of his statement about him. "Everyone in my pack drifted to me and was struggling in some form. I saved a few but gave them a job that enabled them to create themselves a life. My father and uncles raised me strict because I had this anger issues. So to be on the safe side they homeschooled me away from any drama that could trigger my aggression and harm others. Also after a while they trained me with every weapon and in every fighting style that is known. My pack was created when I had just turned nine and saved the first five wolves. See I was raised by humans and did not know that there was more of us until them. You met one his name is David. In fact it was him who first swore to me as alpha the other followed his lead after that even the humans did the same. They all did it by blood."
"Just a quick question," Richard said. "Are you aware or know anything about the werewolf's culture?"
"No I know nothing," I said. "What does the blood mean in this situation?"
"Well first off they only need to swear their loyalty to you," Richard said. "By using blood to create a pack has never been done before. Unless they felt the need of using that. Also by using blood to create the pack the only ones that could take over is your blood line. In other words your children. In general werewolves fight for dominance for ranks when a pack is formed. Never have I heard of one made like you clam. However it is not impossible. I am going to reach out to an elder in my pack maybe they will have an answer."
"Thanks for the information," I responded. "But I am still confused about the blood part. When David first cut his than mine, I was confused. Then he grasped my hand with his both with our cuts aligned with each other. I felt a funny tingling sensation go through my body as he stated 'I accept only you as my alpha and no one else. All who follows you and under your protection I will honor and fight to protect. Anyone who threatens you or those that you call family is a threat to me. For you are my alpha and pack leader.' After he stated that everyone did the same oath and cut on the hand. Since than I have been leading them and the humans asked David if he could guide them through the process so they can be part of the pack. Honestly I am lost about what happen and why or bond is so strong."
"Okay," Richard reply. "Save your question for the elder he may know something that I don't know. However here we are at my office."
As he opens a house door and I follow him down the hallway to his office.
"Why don't you have Lilly send for the elder and have her join us?" I asked.
"That is a great idea," Richard said as he got a distant look. "Okay she is on her way right now and sent my beta to get the elder."
"What is a beta?" I asked.
"It is my second in command," Richard explained. "See if I am away I can count on my beta to take care of the pack or if I am severely injured. Of course he could make last minute decisions if the situation is serious and needs to be handle immediately."
"Oh I see," I said.
"Here," Richard said as he hands me a book. "I have three copies of this it explains about packs and how they work in general. Since you were not raised in one this may help you out."
The door to the office open as a lady walked in.
"So Richard why do you need me?" She asked. "I was planning to spend some time with the packs pups."
"He asked you here because what I have to say," I said.
"And who are you rouge?" She growled.
I raised my right eyebrow at her and then looked at her mate as I said, "You may want to clear this up quick because I have been holding my temper in long enough. The next person that will disrespect me may be injured very badly. There is also a reason why my pack is called what they are and it all involves with my temper."
"Richard what does she mean?" She said.
"Lilly, honey please quiet growling at her," He said to his mate. "You have just disrespected a strong and powerful alpha that has been tracking down a pack of rouges. They apparently been killing humans and wolves a like. She was just about to inform us together about how serious it is and the possibility that our pack may be in danger."
"What?" She screeched out.
"Thank you for the now ringing ears," I said. "I have very keen senses that are above normal and where that screech may not bother many werewolves it hurts my ears."
'Alpha,' David contacted me.
'What is it David?' I responded.
'We have a problem,' he answered. 'And you are not going to like it. It would be best to tell the alpha to start to have his pack go to lock down for protection.'
'Okay,' I responded. 'Is there anything else I need to tell this alpha while I am at it?'
'Yes have him keep some of his warriors with the women and children to be safe,' David informed me. 'We are hot on their tails. The alpha and you can handle the frontal assault. We will be your back up from their rear end.'
"So Richard how ready are is your pack for an attack?" I asked. "The rouges we have been track are head right this way. I advise you to have half your warriors with women and children. While the other half with you and me as we fight them head on. My team that went on to track them is right on their tail and will come to our aid immediately."
"Lilly I am going to have you and my beta in charge of the rest of the pack," Richard said. "Julian, I want you to take half the warriors with you. Your job at this moment is to guard the safe rooms."
"Got it Alpha," Julian said and he took the Luna with him to tend to the problem.
"Okay so I am with you and your warriors," I Explain the quick plan, "head on. While my group is coming in on the rear. In this situation I would normal advice not to do; however, I know how my men operate and I am with you to help so this equals out the playing field. What I mean is unless you know how the other team works and moves do not try this. Right now you have me on this side so in general this type of plan will work."
"Alright," Richard said. "I understand how this plan has advantage at this time. One we can prepare a little. Two there was a team already tracking them. Finally one member of their team is with one of the side. I am I correct on how this is working so far?"
"Of course," I said, "That is one reason why but the biggest reason is because I can connect us temporary so we can work together. While I am working with this side I can connect to another alpha and temper link us to the point that we are almost merging. This is only for temper so we can all communicate to each other and so we can all survive. I will warn you that the humans that are on the team know that they are helping. Their loyalty is to me and my pack."
After my final statement, we walked out toward the other warriors that did not go with the beta waited for their alpha. While we approach, I took the time to do a temper connection with their alpha so that both his and my pack can work together.
'Robert,' I sent to his mind. 'Can you hear me?'
'Yes' he responded with a puzzled face.
"Ok," I said out loud. "I want you to try and connect to David quick. All I did was connect myself and you. Through our temper connection everyone should be able to talk to each other. I would like you first than each of your warriors try to reach him. My pack already felt the temper connection being made."
"How was it I did not?" He said.
"That is because I did the connect," I said. "I have done this multiple times and know how to set a temper connection so that we can take care of the rouges."
'Hey Phoenix," David said. 'I just got a whole lot of people calling my name. The rouges are about fifteen minutes out.'
'Okay,' I said. 'Did you at least respond to them?'
'Of course,' David said. 'To all of them at once and they were shocked with many what the fuck responses back at me.'
"All right," I spoke out loud. "So David just told me the connect is there and remember this is a temper one which can be broken only by your alpha or me. The rouges are about fifteen minutes out and they are not expecting a fight or that we are ready for them. We are the front while David is bring my team that has been track these guys from the rear."
"Why are you directing us and not our alpha?" Asked one warrior.
"You should be with the women and children," Said another warrior.
"Well for one," I started, "I am an alpha in my own right. Second it has been my team and I hunting down these rouges. In fact we could have chosen to let everyone in this pack die but we are not. As a rule we do not let the helpless die and since you are not helpless we are giving you a chance to protect your pack and family. My question to you is would you prefer to be prepared for a fight or have a surprise attack that could have you and your pack on their knees? We are giving you a fighting chance. Now if you excuse me I am going to head in the direction of they are coming in. Personally my pack and I can handle it alone but I figured you may like the chance to fight to protect your homes, family and pack."
After I said that I walked away as all the warriors looked at me like I had grown two heads. Since they were temper in the pack link they heard what I was telling my pack.
'How far out is team three?' I asked.
'We are about a minute out,' Leon responded. 'Coming in on the right side.'
'Coming in on the left side is your famous team four and we are about the same amount of time,' Evans jumped in.
'We thought you may need more help so we decided to come and help,' joined in both Vince and Pete.
'I do not like how that pack disrespect our alpha,' Colt stated.
'Yep I am with you but wait until they see what kind of threat our pack can be,' Nathan said.
'You young ones realize they are listening in,' Josh spoke up.
'Right now,' Ralph huffed out. 'They treat our alpha as if she is incapable and weak. In truth they want respect but to us they do not deserve it.'
'That is enough,' I shouted through the pack mind link. 'We will get this taken care of without them. If they want to be ungrateful than let them right now these rouges have been harm both humans and werewolves alike and need to be taken care of. That means with or without their help! Am I clear?'
'Yes Alpha,' everyone responded.
All I did was glanced back at their Alpha and said, " it is your choice what to do but remember we are going to stop these rouges right here today. It can be with or without your help. They have killed too many people already and still are dangerous to be living. You all have your own choices to make but know this they will not harm no more."
With that said I continued on as the first wave of rouges came through. All I did was create a blood bath with the first ten rouges. Through the whole process I was smiling at the rouges as they came in.
'We are coming in,' Lyle, Leon and David all said through the mind link.
Alpha Richard and his warriors was surprise as I held the rouges in place not letting them to pass. One rouge decide to shift to his human form.
"You bitch," he snarled. "You will be dead."
"Oh will I be," I said. "I have a question for you and I want the honest truth. Have you heard of the Reaper warrior pack?"
"Yes," he said with a gal.
"Have you heard that their leader loves to bathe the blood of those who harm others?" I asked.
"Y-y-y-yes," he stuttered this time.
"For all that you and this pack of rouges have done," I said. "Do you think the reaper warriors pack would not hunt you done like the animals you and kill you? The first town you attack you came onto our raider and we started to look for you. The more you guys killed the more we pulled in to find you. Now you guys are dead. As the Alpha to the Reaper Warrior pack we will see you dead so that the innocent people can live in safety. We have you surrounded."
"No you will be dead," he yelled as his shift and all the rouges tried to fight through the line that my pack had them at.
Not breaking a stride I continued on my killing when angel spoke up.
'Let me have some fun phoenix,' she said.
'Okay,' I said as I let her take over.
In both my human and wolf form I was stronger than all these rouges. Blood bath it was as multiple rouge wolves attacked and lost their lives. I felt alive as I killed them. Still they flooded in trying to get out alive as they relied too late that the only way they would leave would be in death.
The pack that my pack came to protect and help was in shock as they saw me. A single wolf taking down fifty to hindered rouge wolves at a time and not yielding to a single one. I continued on knowing my pack had their hands full as well.
Fight we did by the time the last rouge met his death my pack and I met in the middle of the field every one of us covered in blood. The humans in my pack came out with their sniper rifles over their shoulder shaking their heads.
"Well it looks like bathes are need," said Dominic.
"Any rouges that try to make a break for it we took them out," Joe stated.
"Every one of them are dead," George said.
"Well let's see if these stupid, disrespectful pack of wolves will let us take showers and rest for the night," Jalen said with hate in his voice.
"Of course you can," Richard said. "Zane, show them to the showers so they can get the blood off of themselves."
"Yes Alpha Star," he responded.
"Richard," I called out to him. "I need to at least see how your warriors are in strength and their fighting method. I just want to make sure that you guys will be fine when we leave. Also a piece of advice to you train your women folk so that they can protect themselves in case something goes wrong. It is best that they are trained and they not need to use that skill. Instead of not having the skill and need it. Teach your pups the basic fighting skills and when they get older they can go more advance as they choose."
End flash back
I also remember before we left getting that pack in a better condition than before and help get a system going for a normal routine.
While I was remembering what happen I got ready for bed especially since I had done up house plans, training building, training field, basketball court, swimming pool both inside and out, and firing range building. Also as for the research for prices and possible property I think I almost have one locked in that would work for us. I have at least five different possible properties that may work. I personally think the one with ninety thousand acres would serve best for the pack and home base for our business.
After the long consideration of these properties I have set up all the information to present in the meeting tomorrow for my family. With those as my last thoughts when I went to bed for the night.
