Chapter 7 - I'm alive
Raphael thought that he was dead. The feeling of being stabbed by a hand was really painful. He didn't even know whether he will survive it or not...but if he does all demons shall be killed by him.
"Sshhh...ah"
Raphael blocked his eyes as rays of light from the sun came into the window and hit his eyes.
His face turned into a horrified one when he saw a few needles attached to his body in various areas.
He realised he was in a hospital as he looked at the few instruments and devices around.
His head hurt as the face of the demon he saw before flashed in his mind.
He was consumed with anger and wanted all demons to suffer if they were like that.
"So I'm still alive huh?"
His eyes widened as he remembered a certain someone. He tried to get out of bed but a few alarms triggered.
*Blaaan blaan.....*
'Huh?'
A few people came rushing in some seconds later and held him to the bed.
"What are you people doing I have to see her"
He struggled with the doctors who were holding him and they strapped him to the bed so that he would stay put.
"Young man, we were told to take care of you. The needles are still taking effect...it will take a while" a doctor in a mask said to him.
"Where is she...?" he asked weakly.
He only wanted to know if Martha was okay. He would rest if he knew that she was safe and sound.
"My friend get some rest. She's in good hands" the doctor smiled.
Raphael didn't know whether to trust this doctor but he didn't have a choice as he felt drowsy and finally gave in.
Unbeknowest to Raphael that the doctor has injected sleeping drugs in him when they were strapping him up.
He felt himself unable to move and before he knew it...he gave in to the drug.
The doctors sighed as they finally succeeded in binding him.
"This one was quite troublesome ey doctor"
"Yh, he was brought in last night by the hunters. His state was rather pitiful, he had multiple internal and external injuries"
The doctor said while tapping on the screen of his device.
"I heard it was a demon attack that occurred"
"Yh, it was. But....I would give it to him, he's quite brave"
"And why do you say that?" the other assistant doctor looked at Raphael and asked.
"From what I heard, he saved that woman from death by shielding her with his body"
"You can't be serious!" the young assistant almost fell to the ground.
"It's true alright."
The assistant had a face full of surprise as he couldn't tell why some people just endanger their lives for nothing.
"Luckily a hunter got to the scene before the demon could kill them and saved him from dying using a skill"
"Sigh...I guess luck do exist"
"I don't understand why he would do that though. If it was any of us we would have been overcomes with fear and either run or pass out"
"Me too. I have seen a demon before, their killing aura makes it hard to focus as fear will overcome the person"
"He's quite brave if you ask me. I would've left the lady and ran"
"But he didn't"
The doctors discussed about the incident that caused the accident in amazement.
****meanwhile****
"This place again!" Raphael mumbled as he found himself floating in a dark and empty space.
He recognized this place as he has been here a couple of times in his sleep. It's almost like a horror, he can't move in this place and was only left to think.
"Sigh..." he sighed as he knew what to do. He only has to stay here till he wakes up in real life.
He only comes here when he passes out or was put in a forced sleep.
He just stared at the endless dark space while thinking about the demon in his head and how he would kill them.
"Huh?" he saw a light in the distance getting brighter and brighter until he got pulled out of that place.
He opened his eyes only to find a person's face close to his.
Those blue eyes.....he has seen those eyes somewhere. Her hair...purple, just like....
'Wait a minute her'
His eyes widened as he looked at the person's face above him. His body moved on it's own as he raised his hand and flicked her forehead.
"Ahh!"
She stared at him in surprise while Raphael looked at her like someone who was about to be raped.
"What are you doing?" he asked her.

POV Lisa
After they seperated when she exchanged contacts with him...she had mixed feelings as Raphael couldn't remember her.
She went to her house after that incident to get some rest.
She lives alone currently in a little apartment and doesn't stay with her family or friends.
She took the workers license exam so that she can start working and earn money.
Lisa was similar to Raphael as they were both living on government money since and the money was about to run out.
She got dressed as she wore a short and light night gown which showed her smooth slender legs and her nipples were poking the light dress.
She turned on the TV whether she will see anything entertaining.
[Breaking news: A demon outbreak has occurred at the convenience store at street 37. According to information from the fleeing citizens it seems like it is a single demon.
The demon hunters have been contacted and are in their way to stop the terror of this demon. ]
'Wait, isn't that...?'
She looked at the TV and saw a white haired guy running towards instead of away from the scene.
"I wonder what he is doing"
After a while a demon Hunter in a black robe came outside while carrying two people on his shoulders. The hunter handed the people to the hospital personnels.
Her eyes seems to be filled with hurt as she stared at the scene and the white haired boy which was all bloody.
"My love" she said as she looked worriedly at the TV screen.

Lisa couldn't sleep that night as the next morning, she rushed to the hospital where Raphael was admitted into.
At first the doctors didn't allow her to go and see him, they soon allowed her as she told them she was his girlfriend.
She entered the room he was in with pain in her heart as she looked at Raphael's bandaged figure on the bed.
