The Dark Church members charging towards Nova were getting burned alive. His flames were even more powerful than before, it was probably a transformation caused by Apex.
The temperature on the entire battlefield seemed to rise with every passing second.
From the horde of hundreds coming at Nova more than 80 died and the rest were to scared to continue.
"Stop! Those with defensive techniques and abilities step forward, the rest will follow." Pope Hugo quickly stepped in and ordered. He was at the front of the pack and tried to discipline his church members.
They adhered to Hugo's orders and got in a strange formation. This one seemed capable of connecting their senses and if one of them was in immediate dangers, the rest could react and possibly save that person.
However, how could they know what Nova was capable of?
