The altar absorbed a little dot of energy, then another one, and another one... After a while, it seemed to be unable to absorb even more Apex Energy. Or maybe it was enough.
A few strange runes formed on the altar's exterior, they glowed with a golden hue and just like connecting dots, a line of energy started taking shape.
Seemingly wanting to link all the runes, the energy that permeated the room was also absorbed.
