"Blazing Hellfire." After Nova swung his sword toward Thasius, the latter felt danger coming his way.
"Killing Streak!" He quickly retrieved a black spear from his spatial ring and parried Nova's attack. Or at least he tried to do so. How could he directly repel an area of effect attack by blocking in a single direction?
Because of the fast course of the events, Thasius couldn't properly block Nova's attack. His hands were getting burned alive. "Ahh! You bastard!"
Thasius's screams reverberated through the battlefield, everyone who heard him could only imagine the pain he felt to elicit such a scream from him.
Nova wasn't just going to stand there and do nothing. 'Apex of Speed! Apex of Strength!' He quickly used his Apex Index's abilities and boosted himself before disappearing from his spot and coming closer to Thasius.
Without giving Thasius a break, Nova continued to bombard him with attacks from all directions.
