After entering the tunnel, Nova speeded up and quickly found his first targets. It was a group of Evolver Stage Beastmen. In a few sword swings, he obliterated them before finding another path to take.
The beast cores he obtained earlier were constantly being absorbed as he confronted et another group. He currently had two reasons to hurry up like that. One, because there must be dozens of tunnels waiting to be discovered. Two, right before entering the tunnel, his senses warned him that he was being watched.
He didn't know if the tunnel had security means to alarm the people inside of his arrival or...there was someone outside the tunnel watching him.
The latter must be scarier, as Nova couldn't have any means to resist a powerhouse capable of following him so closely without even leaving a trace.
