After Nova heard that, he hugged Karla even tighter.
The poor girl was beginning to feel scared, her only hope right now, was Nova. She felt safe in his embrace, it was amazing how warm a human body could become, and how much confidence it could radiate.
"Can we..." Right when Karla wanted to speak, Nova stopped her. He gently looked at her before saying, "It's okay. With me here, nothing would happen to you. Just stay like this for a while."
Hearing Nova say that, Karla just buried her head in his chest even more. Her earlier blush was nowhere to be seen. Instead, she got used to being so close to a man.
It surely helped her that Nova was so kind and handsome.
Suddenly, Nova started patting her head, his hand slowly getting to her back, until it reached her butt.
The gentle and soft touch of Nova's hand made Karla tremble. She thought it would be a while until someone would touch her like that, it seemed that she was wrong.
