As the sun rose on Ortania, the friends one by one began to wake up and gather in the throne room, Ashhad also woke up and went to the throne room where the others had either already arrived or came moments later finally, when everyone had arrived Ashhad went and sat on the throne as Zulqarnain said
Zulqarnain : alright Ashhad, now it's time that you make your cabinet as well as begin reforms for the betterment of the nation, I will most graciously help you in ...
Asad cut Zulqarnain off by saying
Asad : I think you should leave the reforms to me.
everyone looked at Asad in confusion as he clarified his statement by saying
Asad : you see back on earth I was the chairman of a right wing political party.
Zulqarnain : don't you think we should try and preserve democracy?
Asad : I'm not enforcing my ideology, all I want is the betterment of Ortania and besides a little bit of socialism couldn't hurt anyone.
Zulqarnain : all I'm saying is ....
Asad again cut Zulqarnain off by saying
Asad : even back on earth, when my party was in power, my nation prospered in all aspects of development and yes I know that it takes a good cabinet to improve legislation.
Ashhad : I didn't want to interrupt you Asad but as a citizen of your former regime, many of your party officials were found involved in corruption not to mention the numerous times you got jailed after the end of your tenure.
Asad : those were all fake stories made by the media and the reason I got arrested was because of my political rivalry.
Ashhad : even if it was a political enmity explain why your party got disbanded after only taking part in two elections?
Asad : we ... I mean I ...
Zulqarnain : answer his question Asad.
Asad : listen it was all just a bluff ok and besides this isn't the real world and you saw how I changed after my party got dissolved.
Ashhad : fine, tell me what's your plan?
Asad : ok so first of all we need to relocate all townspeople of Stevenburg back to their respective houses, secondly we need a proper cabinet so that the state may function.
Ashhad : alright I think we should form a cabinet first.
Asad : as you wish and oh don't forget to create a diverse cabinet consisting of both males and females as that will put a positive impact on your citizens.
Ashhad : I was thinking of making a cabinet based on merit.
this sentence infuriated Alyne, Aliza and Kainaat as Kainaat asked
Kainaat : are you saying that woman are illiterate?
Ashhad : of course not, I'm just saying that we should make a more able and strong minded legislature.
Aliza : that sounds a bit misogynistic.
Ashhad : how on earth is that ugh ... you know what fine we'll make a " diverse cabinet ".
Asad : fascinating.
Ashhad : Ok so first of all we need a prince and the best choice for that is Humzah.
Humzah : really?
Ashhad : yep you are from now on my prince.
Humzah : wow, thanks.
Ashhad : now as for my minister of defense, Zulqarnain I choose you.
Zulqarnain : actually, I'm not really that keen on teaching people how to fight so if you could maybe change your decision?
Ashhad : it's Ok, I'm not forcing my decisions on anyone.
Zulqarnain : thanks.
Ashhad : well since Zulqarnain declined my offer, Kainaat I choose you.
Kainaat : yes! Thankyou so much Ashhad.
Ashhad : no worries, as for my minister of Economy, Hussnain I choose you.
Hussnain : that's lovely.
Ashhad : Alyne you shall be my minister of health.
Alyne : I promise to serve you till the end.
Ashhad : and finally my minister of law and relations will be Nizaam.
Nizaam : oh that's very kind of you.
Ashhad : Asad shall be my personal advisor.
Asad : good job.
Ashhad : and incase any of our ministers or in the worst case scenario prince dies, Zulqarnain or Aliza will replace them, till then you two are honorary ministers.
Aliza : that seems like a fine idea.
Zulqarnain : and just like that the cabinet has been made.
Humzah : that was quick.
Asad : now that the cabinet has been made, I say we get to business.
Ashhad : right.
Asad : I think we should ...
Zulqarnain cut Asad off by saying
Zulqarnain : the townsfolk of Stevenburg are still living in emergency camps, we need them to return back to Stevenburg so that the town can restart its financial services.
Ashhad : good idea, I should issue a nationwide message to assess the situation.
Asad was clearly mad at Zulqarnain but he piped down his anger and said
Asad : very well.
an Email was forwarded to all the townspeople of Ortania informing them about Sufiyan's death as well as the end of national emergency, after this the friends made their way to the gates of Stevenburg where after some time people began to arrive in mass, niether did the people care about the fact that Sufiyan was dead nor did they care about the fact that Ashhad had became king, they just wanted to go home and that was it, thankfully nothing bad happened and all the people peacefully settled back into their houses without causing any commotion or violence, after the crowd had been resettled, Ashhad and his friends went back to the royal palace, sitting in the throne room the group discussed about future reforms within the nation as Asad gave a suggestion
Asad : we should implement a policy which makes it mandatory for everyone to have their own source of food, that way we can avoid famines.
Kainaat : we should implement a policy
of mandatory military service so that everyone knows how to fight.
Humzah : I support Kainaat's suggestion.
Aliza : we should also have harsh punishments for ra*e so that our female citizens can be save.
Zulqarnain : ra*e isn't one sided sweetie we should implement a similar law for the protection of our male population.
Asad : this might just be the last time I'm saying this but I support Zulqarnain's suggestion.
Ashhad : calm down everybody, one person at a time.
but just then a man entered the throne room he had fair complexion, hazel colored eyes and black hairs, seeing this man everyone stopped arguing as Ashhad asked
Ashhad : who are you?
Mike : it is an honor to meet you, your highness my name is Mike Morrison and I'm a citizen of Ortania.
Ashhad : Ok, how may we help you Mike?
Mike : your highness, I am aware of the fact that you came into power through a revolution and that you ousted the incumbent government, am I right?
Ashhad : why yes that is true.
Mike : your highness you may not like what I'm saying but many of us citizens believe that you should justify your rule through a democratic revolution.
Ashhad : what's a democratic revolution?
Asad : I honestly don't know.
Zulqarnain : it's a fancy way of saying that he wants you to prove your rule through a nationwide election.
Ashhad : oh I see.
Mike : well your highness, do you approve of my plan?
Ashhad looked at his cabinet members and everyone except Asad gave Ashhad a thumbs up so Ashhad said with full confidence
Ashhad : Mike I approve of your decision.
Mike : thankyou your highness, I will inform all the other political parties about this wonderful news.
Mike left as Asad annoyingly asked
Asad : what the hell was that?
Ashhad : what else was I supposed to do, say no.
Zulqarnain : Asad stop whining and prepare for the elections.
Asad : (sigh) fine, give me some time, I need to plan our next move.
Asad left the throne room.
