Micheal, a boy who is mediocre in everything like looks, talent and personality . His bleak personality made it hard for others to get along with others.

He occasionally was picked on and bullied. But pretty much his entire life up until now has been boring.

One day during spring break as it grew warmer the school decided to let Micheal and his Junior class on a field trip to a museum.

On the bus to the museum the more popular kids were gossiping to each other. At some point there was the occasional remark towards Micheal, but nonetheless pretty quiet and peaceful. At least to Micheal, as he was just staring out the window observing the surroundings as they passed.

"Ahhh watch out! That semi-truck won't stop for us!" A student screamed.

A loud crash and dozens of painful cries and screams could be heard harrowing from throughout the sky.

Micheal would lay there with his other classmates amidst pools of their own blood. Bodies all around, kids crying for their mothers and fathers to come to save them from the pain slowly dissipate.

Most of them were dead now, others are holding on to whatever life they have left hoping to make it out of the situation.

The bus they were in was flipped upside down, the driver with his seatbelt still strapped was lying lifelessly as a piece of metal shrapnel was lodged into his esophagus. A girl was lying outside of the vehicle after being thrown out of the window laid dead as she was dismembered and brutalized.

Micheal tried to rise with all of his might to stand upon his feet once again, but to no avail. He'd look down at his legs only to realize that is lower half was gone. Just flesh, blood and his intestines spilling out only to remain.

"Fuck-" He groaned to himself slowly as his last breath was taken.

When Micheal opened his eyes one phrase came to his mind, "Is this the afterlife?" Puzzled he sat up looking around just to see his classmates still alive and breathing spread out across an open and grassy field resembling something of the illustrations you would see about the history of the Great Plains.

Micheal looked up at the sky above him, it looked the same as the normal sky. Just with one abnormality, there was a large moon visible even through the daylight sky.

"It had to be something out of a comic or an anime. This was all too surreal, how could this be." He pondered to himself.

And before all of the kids eyes a green menu appeared before their eyes. It resembled that of a game menu to a rpg game.
