1. Home Sweet Home
Stephen gazed outside the window, viewing the moon blooming in full and the stars swimming through the sky. He could denote the sound of engines from afar, vehicles, motorcycle, all in the city. It dawned to him that he was approaching landing. He let out a sharp breath and slam his head lightly on the headrest. Home sweet home, a home full of misery, thoughts and happenings. He felt like he had never left.
He made his way out with his luggages to the airport terminal when the plane landed. Some ladies waiting for his arrival, came to aid him with his bags. "Welcome home Sir Stephen." They greeted cheerfully. He replied the ladies with a broad smile. He walked on leaving everything to the ladies and approached to the airport building, squeezing his way out to the exit with the ladies behind him. A neatly parked black chauffeur driven limousine was waiting for his arrival. For a second, he laughed to the thought of seeing his father picking him up from the airport. Never in a million years will that ever happen.
'Let's get this over with. This preferential treatment is killing me.' He inwardly said aloud. The door was opened for him and his luggages were taken from the ladies.
The car drives it's way from the airport to the street. The unrecognizable streets of New York, it's been 6 years since he last viewed them and they look so new, ravishing and amazing in his sight. The limo drove into a private road after several minutes on the street. This one looked confidential, as only street lights were seen. No car dare pass it without proper authorization. There was a huge gate before them which made them stop. Three men came out in security uniforms, walking to the car. Stephen lowered his side windows making them see his face.
"Welcome home master" They all said on unison and signaled to the men inside to open the gates. Stephen winded up the tinted windows. He closed his eyes, trying to foresee what would happen next. Well, what he knew was that it will be worse, more worse than worse.
The view of a beautiful, majestic and enormous house became more visible in sight with an attractive surrounding encompassed with a garden of lovely and well to see flowers. The car steered round the fountain and parked the car right in front of the building entrance stairs. Stephen got down from the car and stared at the whole building for sometime. His stares were cut short by the maids who took a bow to welcome his presence.
"Here goes nothing" He whispered before walking up to the house.
