Chapter 11 Life

Hours went by, and finally, a doctor came out to talk to them. Hector stood up, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Is she going to be okay?" he asked, barely able to keep his voice steady.

The doctor looked at him solemnly. "We were able to stop the bleeding, but she lost a lot of blood. It was touch and go for a while, but she's stable now. She's going to need surgery, but we're hopeful she'll pull through."

Hector let out a sigh of relief, but his thoughts immediately turned back to Sage. He had to find out what had happened to him.

He excused himself and went to the restroom, where he finally took a moment to examine his own wounds. His gunshot wound had been cleaned and bandaged by the doctors, but he had also been bleeding from a head injury that he had not noticed before. He cleaned himself up as best he could and then made his way back to the waiting room.

As he walked through the doors, he saw Brandon sitting with his head in his hands, tears streaming down his face. Hector walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"We have to find out what happened to Sage," he said softly.

Brandon looked up at him, his eyes filled with anger and pain. "We're going to find those bastards and make them pay," he said through gritted teeth.

Hector nodded, knowing that Brandon was right. They had to find Sage and make those responsible pay for what they had done. As they walked out of the hospital, Hector noticed a news report on the TV in the lobby. The headline read: "Gang Violence on the Rise in the City." Hector knew they were in for a long and dangerous fight, but he was determined to see it through.

Days turned into weeks as Hector, Brandon, and DD tried to adjust to their new reality. DD was recovering well, but she would need a wheelchair for a while. Hector continued to search for any leads on Sage, but it was like he had disappeared off the face of the earth.

One day, they received a phone call from a woman who claimed to have Sage but refused to give any details about his whereabouts. She promised to call back when he woke up and hung up without further explanation. But the call never came, and they were left waiting and wondering.

Hector couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about the call. He did some digging and discovered that the area code wasn't from America, but from South Korea. It was a dead end, and they were left with no choice but to wait and plan their next move.

That's when Hector received a text message about a street race happening outside of the city. The prize money was enough to buy a car or some plane tickets to Korea. Hector saw it as an opportunity to get some quick cash and possibly get closer to finding Sage.

He had Sage's car, a Toyota Supra with flames on the sides, and Brandon had his Nissan GT-R. The race was intense and close, with Hector and another driver in a BMW going neck and neck for the lead. But then, disaster struck. Brandon's car got a flat tire, and he was out of the race.

Hector knew he had to win this race, not just for the money, but for Sage. He pushed his car to the limit, and the BMW driver tried to take him out, hitting Hector's car and almost causing him to spin out. But Hector managed to regain control and pass the BMW, crossing the finish line in first place.

Chapter 12 Korea

With the prize money from the race, Hector and Brandon decided to book a flight to South Korea in hopes of finding some information about Sage's whereabouts. DD had to stay behind due to her injuries and recovery, but they promised to keep her updated on their progress.

When they landed in Korea, they found themselves lost in the bustling city with a language barrier making it difficult to communicate with the locals. But they soon met a man named Ho-Seok, who noticed their confusion and offered to help them.

Ho-Seok was a man covered in tattoos, and he spoke fluent English. He explained that his father, who had passed away, was from the United States, and he had moved to Korea for work. They quickly formed a bond with Ho-Seok, who became their guide and translator during their stay in Korea.

As they explored the city, Ho-Seok introduced them to some of the locals who had connections to the underground racing scene. They were able to gather some information about Sage, but it was all vague and unclear. They learned that Sage had been kidnapped by a notorious gang called the Black Dragons, who were known for their violent tactics and control over the illegal street racing scene in Korea.

Hector and Brandon knew that they were risking their lives by getting involved with the Black Dragons, but they were determined to rescue Sage and bring him back home. They devised a plan to infiltrate one of their underground races, hoping to gather more information and possibly rescue Sage if they had the chance.

But they knew that the Black Dragons were a dangerous and unpredictable group, and their plan could easily go wrong. They were willing to take the risk, though, knowing that it was their best chance of finding their friend and bringing him home safely.

Chapter 13 Yu-jun and the Black Dragons

Yu-jun had gone to new angeles to deliver some supplies on behalf of her brother Hae-seong. She found a man covered with blood and standing with a knife and 8 bodies. When the man saw Yu-jun. he dropped the knife and fell face first with a ripped shirt, a broken arm and covered in blood. The sight of him impressed Yu-jun. She wanted to know more about this man. She called her men over to help her carry the man onto the plane. It was a risky move, but she knew that she had to help him. They finished delivering the supplies. As they flew back to Korea, she tended to his wounds as best as she could. He had a broken arm and several cuts and bruises, but he was still alive.

Yu-jun couldn't believe what she was seeing.

As they landed in Korea, Yu-jun arranged for the man to be taken to her brother's underground hideout. She had a feeling that he wasn't just any ordinary man, and she wanted to learn more about him.

Over the next few weeks, Yu-jun nursed the man back to health.. Yu-jun couldn't help but admire his determination and bravery, despite the danger that he faced.

As Sage slowly regained consciousness, Yu-jun sat by his bedside, keeping a watchful eye over him. Sage was initially hesitant to share anything with her, but as he began to trust her, he revealed his story about how he ended up in New Angles and the events that led to the massacre.

As Sage started to recover, Yu-jun introduced him to her brother, Hae-seong. Hae-seong was the leader of the notorious Black Dragons gang, and he had a reputation for being ruthless and unforgiving. But to Yu-jun, he was just her older brother who had taken her in when their parents died.

Hae-seong was intrigued by Sage's story, and he saw potential in him. He offered Sage a place in the Black Dragons, knowing that his skills would be useful to the gang.

Sage was hesitant to join the gang at first, but he knew that he needed protection and resources to find a way back to his old life. He accepted the offer, and Hae-seong took him under his wing, training him in the ways of the Black Dragons.

Sage was nervous as he sat down in the tattoo parlor, surrounded by members of the Black Dragons. He had seen the tattoos on their bodies, and he knew that getting inked was a rite of passage for joining the gang. He had hoped that he could avoid it, but he knew that he had to follow through if he wanted to be fully accepted by the gang.

The tattoo artist began working on Sage's left arm, using a needle and ink to etch the emblem of the Black Dragons onto his skin. Sage winced in pain as the needle pierced his skin, but he gritted his teeth and bore it. This was his new life now, and he had to embrace it.

As the tattoo was finished, the members of the gang congratulated him and welcomed him officially into the Black Dragons. Sage felt a mix of emotions- relief, fear, and a strange sense of belonging.

Yu-jun approached him and gave him a reassuring smile. "You did it," she said. "You're one of us now."

As Sage became more involved with the gang, he found himself drawn deeper into the world of illegal street racing and other criminal activities. It wasn't the life he wanted, but he knew that he had no other choice if he wanted to survive.

Yu-jun became Sage's closest ally in the gang, and she always looked out for him. She saw the potential for him to be more than just a member of the gang

Many weeks passed, and Sage and Yu-jun became closer. They spent countless hours together, talking about their dreams and aspirations, and enjoying each other's company. Yu-jun had fallen in love with Sage, but she knew that he was still haunted by his past and needed time to heal.

Sage also had feelings for Yu-jun, but he was torn between his growing love for her and his life he had back home. He knew that if he left he would be putting himself in danger.

One night, as they sat together on the rooftop of Hae-seong's hideout, Sage finally opened up to Yu-jun. He told her about his past, his family, and his hopes for the future. Yu-jun listened attentively, holding his hand and offering him comfort.

As Sage spoke, he couldn't help but think about his two closest friends, Hector and Brandon. He missed them dearly and often thought about the times they spent together. He wondered what they were doing now and if they were safe.

Yu-jun noticed a change in Sage's demeanor and asked him what was wrong. Sage hesitated at first, but then he told her about Hector and Brandon. He shared stories about their adventures, their close bond, and how they always had each other's backs.

Yu-jun could see the pain in Sage's eyes as he spoke about his friends. She knew how important they were to him.

Sage held onto Yu-jun tightly, feeling the weight of her past experiences. When she asked if it was okay to talk about her own past, Sage nodded, wanting to be there for her in the same way she had been for him.

Yu-jun began by telling Sage about her family, and how her father had been a gang leader from New Angeles who had fled to Korea to escape his rivals. He had helped found the Black Dragons, and had become a key figure in the gang's rise to power. However, he was eventually killed by a rival gang when Yu-jun was only 5 years old.

Her older brother, Hae-seong, had been just 10 years old at the time of their father's death. Despite his youth, he had been forced to step up and become the new leader of the Black Dragons.

Yu-jun's voice trembled as she spoke about her brother's struggles to keep the gang together and maintain their power in the face of fierce opposition from other gangs. She talked about the sacrifices he had made, and the dangers he faced every day.

But despite the hardships, Yu-jun was proud of her brother and the legacy he had built. She spoke with admiration about his leadership and his unwavering commitment to his gang and his family.

Sage listened intently, feeling a deep sense of respect for Yu-jun and her brother. He knew that they were both survivors, people who had overcome incredible adversity to create a life for themselves in the world of organized crime. As he held Yu-jun in his arms, he felt a sense of

Peace when he was with her.

Chapter 14 My friends

A large man, a member of the Black dragons, opens the door to the rooftop. He walked towards Yu-Jun and he said that 2 Americans  were about to race. He says " The boss wants you to take him to the race." Yu-jun agreed. Sage thought to himself " My friends are here"

The race began and the cars revved up their engines, speeding off down the street. Hector and Brandon were driving their hearts out, pushing their cars to the limit. The Black Dragons were tough competition, and they were doing everything in their power to stay ahead.

As they weaved in and out of the city streets, dodging obstacles and narrowly avoiding collisions, the tension in the air was palpable. The sound of screeching tires and engines roaring filled the air as the cars raced towards the finish line.

But then, disaster struck. One of the Black Dragon's cars lost control and careened into a building, causing a massive explosion. The other drivers swerved to avoid the debris, but Hector and Brandon were quick on their feet, maneuvering around the wreckage and continuing on.

Suddenly, one of the Black Dragon's drivers pulled out a gun and aimed it at Hector's car. But before he could pull the trigger, Hector slammed into his car, causing it to spin out of control and crash into a nearby wall.

as Hector and Brandon sped past the wreckage and towards the finish line. They were neck and neck with the last remaining Black Dragon driver, and the tension was at an all-time high.

In the end, it was Hector who crossed the finish line first, with Brandon following closely behind.

Sage was waiting for them at the finish line, a tattoo of a dragon on his left arm, a symbol of his time with the Black Dragons. He looked relieved and overjoyed to see his friends, and he hugged them tightly.

After the race, Sage told them everything. He had been saved by Yu-jun

Sage explained that he had been taken in by Yu-jun, who was a member of the Black Dragons. They had saved his life and nursed him back to health, but in return, he had to join their gang and participate in their illegal racing activities. Sage had no choice but to accept their offer, and he became a member of the Black Dragons.

He explained that Hae-seong, the leader of the Black Dragons, had taken a liking to him and had given him a position of authority within the gang. Suddenly, Hae-seong appeared at the scene, walking towards Hector and Brandon with a look of surprise and respect on his face. "I didn't think you two would win," he said, extending a hand for a handshake. "But you did. I must say, I'm impressed."

Sage stood off to the side, uncertain of what to do. Hae-seong then turned to him and said, "You can leave if you want, Sage, but know that you are still a member of the Black Dragons." Sage looked down at his dragon tattoo and felt conflicted. He didn't want to be a part of this world anymore, but he didn't know how to leave.

That's when Ho-Seok stepped in and yelled, "But I'm not!" He pulled out a gun and shot Hae-seong in the neck, causing chaos and panic to erupt. Yu-jun quickly intervened and took away Ho-Seok's gun, and the group stood in shock as Hae-seong lay on the ground, bleeding out. Hector and Brandon looked at Ho-Seok in disbelief, their minds struggling to comprehend the scene unfolding before them. "Why?!" they yelled at him, their voices trembling with rage and sadness.

Ho-Seok looked at them with cold eyes and said, "He was my older brother. With him gone, I will be the new leader of the Black Dragons." Hector and Brandon could feel the weight of those words, the knowledge of the violence and corruption that came with such power.

Yu-jun walked over to Ho-Seok and put the gun to his head. She didn't say a word, but her eyes spoke volumes. Ho-Seok's expression shifted from defiance to fear, and he knew that his fate had been sealed. Yu-jun pulled the trigger, and Ho-Seok fell to the ground, lifeless.

The group was stunned into silence as they stared at the two bodies lying on the ground.

Hae-seong managed to utter one last word before he passed away. "Salanghaeyo," he whispered, a Korean phrase that meant "I love you."

Sage walked over to Hae-seong's body and looked down at him, feeling a sense of regret and sadness wash over him. He knew that Hae-seong had made mistakes in his life, but he also knew that he had been a kind and caring leader to him and the other members of the Black Dragons.

Yu-Jun holds her brother in her arms. she screams. Everyone could hear her pain, her loss
