As they walked into the restaurant, Kalina saw Megan’s blind date getting up from his chair; he was holding a drink in his hand. Just by his outer appearance, she was pleased. But as she got closer and realized who he was, she was starting to feel a constriction in her throat for fear that Megan might create a scene. She pulled Tony to a halt. “You set her up with him?”
“Yes,” Tony was obviously very pleased.
“Did he know he was being set up with Megan?” Kalina asked. When Tony nodded, she panicked even more. “Aiya! Megan is going to kill me.”
“Why?” Tony could not fathom any reasons. “They practically live together.”
“That’s why!” Kalina hissed.
