Chapter 16 - Part 16

He entered the house through the backdoor. There was an empty wine glass on the counter with her lipstick stain on it. He moved further into the house, the sitting room looked unused. He looked at a picture frame that was hung on the wall of the entryway, it had a picture of two young girls and two parents but the fathers head had been cut off. He walked up the staircase and headed towards Adeline's bedroom. The bed had been neatly made, he took a seat on it and opened the bedside table finding her pink vibrator. He took it in his hand and chuckled to himself.
