Olcan lay on the ground wailing like an animal that was about to get slaughtered. The sounds he was making were very irritating making Selene angrier. Everyone who had the whip strike their body knew that she hated it when someone cried out while lashing them. Those sounds would escalate things further.
The one person she did want to hear squeal like a dying pig though was Aperius but that bastard would always stare at her with those stubborn eyes as though daring her to kill him. She clenched her jaw as she tighten her hold on the whip before saying, "Shut up...," her voice was low and menacing but of course, Olcan didn't hear it. How could he when he was crying like that?
She gripped her whip even tighter with her knuckles turning white. The pattern on her whip imprinted inside the palm of her hand as she said again, "Shut up, shut up.... SHUT UP!!" her voice bellowing at the end as she got up on her feet.
