"Where do you think he is taking us?" asked Merida glancing back and forth between the pair of love birds in front of them and the sulking Erina who seemed to have a dark cloud over his head. Erina looked like the very definition of a sad emoji giving off an infectious depressive air.
"Why did you even come with us? You know you could have stayed behind. No one is forcing you to come," she said but her words entered one ear and exited the other.
"If I didn't come then you would be the third wheel. How pathetic would that look?" he spat out but even he knew that even if there was no Merida, he still would have come and acted like an annoying chaperone at a high school dance. Well, it seemed the one time that he should have been a chaperone, which was last night, he failed miserably so there was no chance at all for it to happen today.
