While she was catching her breath she was suddenly picked up and despite being tied to the bed she found herself facing Aperius while sitting on his crossed legs with her thighs wrapped around her torso.
"What are you doing?" She asked when she saw him take out a body of elixir and smear a fragrant oil on her body.
Aperius massaged the oil all over Lilith's chest and abdomen as he answered in a low voice. "I was negligent… You look like you are in pain," he said but his fingers were a bit unruly. He was meant to be applying medicine on her but in truth, he was just trying to start something he had no business starting.
Lilith glanced at his chest muscles that were ridden with burn marks and felt bad for not even noticing. She only cared about taking care of her situation and didn't consider his wounds despite him literally sacrificing himself for her to run and save herself.
