"You… this, how did you get it?" she asked her claw-like fingers reaching out to touch the pendant hanging around his neck like a moth drawn to the flame.
Aperius grasped it tightly with his fingers and moved back while saying, "Don't… touch it."
The gorgon's brows furrowed as she leaned back a little. "Uh… it might look like a toy and it might feel like a toy but I promise you. It is not and someone like you shouldn't have it. Did you steal it?"

Did he just get discriminated against by a freaking monster with ashy skin? "Are you calling me a thief?" asked Aperius with slight annoyance in his voice.
"Well,… if the shoe fits. I mean your kind shouldn't have that… unless…," she said coming closer to inspect Aperius. Aperius moved back a little but she kept coming until he had nowhere to run.
She suddenly gasped as she moved back giving Aperius a sense of relief. "AARGH… unless you are a halfy," she said seemingly genuinely shocked.
