"The evil god Tranile forged the Jinka from the Pink Fire. Pink Fire is an amulet that is used to bury the dead in Mahia. It is believed that the Pink Fire guides the dead person to the afterlife and also helps them to pass through the Sixth Realm without being captured by Tranile. Thus, anybody who is not buried with the Pink Fire never gets to the afterlife but rather stays in the Sixth Realm where Tranile torments them and makes them puppets. Ginny announced this to the Sun Clan members and other people present.
"How does the Jinka relate to the Pink Fire?" asked a young boy among the crowd. Ginny turned to the boy's direction. His eyes were burning like hot iron as he looked at the boy as if he wanted to warn him. "Have mercy, master," said Nina with a shaking voice as she pulled the boy away.
"Let him be," said Ginny, "I will answer that question. Now, this is how the Jinka and the Pink Fire relate: the Pink Fire was invented by the immortal god Johovan after he banished Tranile from the Seventh Realm. Knowing how badly Tranile wanted to use innocent souls as puppets to build his demonic army, he made the Pink Fire which contains pure jade to help souls go to the afterlife. The Pink Fire's jade is known to contain strong power which suppresses Tranile's power, thus helping the dead to pass through the Sixth Realm.
"After the immortal god Johovan invented the Pink Fire, Tranile also looked for a way to get souls. He therefore sent one of his puppets to the Western Palace of Mahia where the Pink Fire is being kept. But unfortunately for him, he encountered Vien. Vien is the most skillful swordsman in Mahia. He's also nicknamed 'Mr. Young' because he's always young even though he's a thousand years old. Some believe that he's a guardian sent by Johovan to protect Mahia. After the puppet encountered him, he had a narrow escape, making away with a broken piece of the Pink Fire.
"The broken piece of the Pink Fire was sent to Tranile. He then forged it into an amulet which was used to create the weapon known as Jinka. This weapon is known to send the souls of its victims to the Sixth Realm where Tranile made them into puppets. Therefore, the Jinka contains some part of the Pink Fire but it was diluted; therefore, it sends souls to the evil god. Ginny made himself comfortable by sitting on the edge of the bed on which Addinka was lying as he brought his explanation to an end.
"'It looks like old age had weakened you,' said Nina. 'Master Ginny, please let me send you home. Wait, before you leave, please tell us how we can save her soul,' Akina said with a moaning voice."
I'll tell you the way when you're ready to take the risk involved. Tell me, I will do anything to save my mother. "OK, I'll tell you, but you should come and see me in the evening under the pine tree in front of the Western Palace," Ginny said as he left the gathering hall of the Sun Clan.
Nina quickly checked Addinka's pulse and followed Ginny.
"MASTER!! MASTER!!" Nina called Ginny. Ginny stopped and slowly turned his old body around. Nina hurriedly caught up with him. "Master, what do you mean by your answer to Akina? Does it mean that there's a way to save Addinka?" Nina asked.
Ginny answered her with a low voice that almost sounded like whispering. "She's not dead." Nina looked at Ginny in surprise. "Why do you look at me with your eyes widened? I said she's not dead," Ginny repeated. "Now tell me what you noticed when you checked her," Ginny asked Nina.
"Her pulse was slow, but I still remember I felt a faint pulse, which means she's in what seems to be a coma," Nina answered.
"As I said, she's not dead. Now you should go to the Western Palace and ask Vien to meet me this evening under the pine tree," Ginny said. Nina hurriedly left for the Western Palace.
Nina wondered as she moved towards the Western Palace. "What does this old man mean by 'she's not dead'? Why would he meet Akina and Vien together?"
"Who's there?" a guard asked. With this question, Nina quickly noticed that she was already standing in front of the palace gate. "I'm Nina, and I'm here to see Vien. What for?" the guard asked.
"I have a message for him," Nina replied.
"Wait for me here," the guard said as he went away to inform Vien. After a while, the guard asked Nina to go in. Nina went into the hall where Vien used to sit, but to her surprise, nobody was there.
"What do you want again?" a voice asked from behind her. She turned, and Vien was standing right there. "Where were you?" Nina asked. "What do you want?" Vien asked, ignoring Nina's question.
"Master Ginny sent me here with a message. Master Ginny? What does he want?" Vien asked. "He said you should meet him under the pine tree outside tonight. What for? I have no idea. OK. Tell him I'll be there."
