Chapter 33 - Chapter 32

When I opened my eyes, I first thought I was dreaming. I mean... I was surrounded by my favorite race of all fiction! Elves!

"Look, she opened her eyes!"

"How pretty!"

This is...? I must be in heaven! How beautiful! These elves... they might have small tits, but they are stunning! I... I wonder what they're talking about? From the looks of it, they seem to be excited about something... and that something is... me??

Like that, I was reincarnated as a baby in another world. A fantasy world! I was super excited! Who wouldn't?! All the things I could see and the adventures I could have... Here, I could live the life I wanted and more!

"..."

....

But... god... why?

Wait... is god even real? If he is... then! Why did he make me a woman! I was a man! A man! Where's my dick? Where's half of my personality? Where did it dissapear!?

"Mm? Why are you staring at yourself in front of the mirror like that, Eria? Why do you look so sad?"

That's because I'm missing the most vital part of myself! I wanted to yell at her, but I still couldn't talk. My vocal chords weren't that developed yet.

"Fufu... what a weird girl you are."

Ugh!!!

I spent most of my childhood days in an orphanage in the elf town I was born in. The elf caretaker explained to me why I was there when I was finally able to comprehend her words. It turns out that my parents were adventurers who migrated in a city governed by humans. They apparently died, and the adventurer guild they were a part of took me and handed me over here to be taken cared of. Even though I was still young, the caretaker was pretty brutal with the details, and she did not hide anything from me.

I grew up with four other kids, and I was popular among them. As I was mentally an adult, I acted mature, and they followed my lead at everything. I was called a genius or a prodigy, but I took those words lightly, obviously because they're simply not true.

We were thought basic knowledge at the orphanage at a young age. We were thought how to read and write elf language, human language too. We also studied common knowledge and etiquette. Unlike the other kids, I learned everything easily, and I wasn't satisfied. So I borrowed books about magic from the adults and I asked the town guards to teach me swordsmanship.

Magic is not the privilege of us orphan children who don't have parents, since the parents we were missing were the ones who were supposed to teach us magic in the first place. At a time when we grow up, we could enter a magic academy, but I won't wait for it and I decided to teach myself magic instead.

It was rare for elf children to take interest in swordsmanship, so people thought I was weird when I asked the town guards to teach it to me. If I will learn magic in this fantasy world, I thought I might as well learn how to use swords. After all, mastering the sword was the romance of medieval-loving men like me. I was pretty enthusiastic about it.

"Ara, ara... you're turning into such a pretty young lady..." our caretaker compliments.

It's true, at 14 years of age, I turned into such a gorgeous and stunning girl. My appearance looked more mature than the other girls of my age. I became the subject of jealousy among the girls outside the orphanage, but there were those who also became attracted to me despite being girls themselves. As for the men... they mostly got attracted to my large and still budding breasts. All the kids that grew up with me at the orphanage courted me, but I ignored them all. I didn't care about the two guys at all... while the two girls were simply too young for my taste.

"Are you sure about this? You're still young and inexperienced... who knows what might happen to you outside?"

"Don't worry, ma'am! I'll be fine!"

At the tender age of 16, I decided to leave my hometown.

"Those four will be worried... you haven't even told them."

"It's not like I will be away forever, I'll come back someday."

"I'm not sure how they'll react... they've become too dependent on you!"

"They're 16 like me already! And they just got their first jobs in town! I'm sure they can take care of themselves."

The four other kids I grew up with at the orphanage have all matured enough to work and earn money for themselves. Because they competed with me at everything, they grew up as smart and strong individuals.

Everything went so fast that it felt like the time I had with them was too short... I still want to spend time at the ophanage, but I have something I want to do now which weights to me more. I want to travel the world. I want to see everything this fantastical world has to offer.

"I see. It seems you've really made up your mind... I will tell them in your place. Make sure to come back some other time, okay? We will miss you."

And that was the last interaction I had with our caretaker. With the promise of returning, I left my hometown to start my adventures.
