I woke up at 10:00 am in the morning with a trouble headache, my head is aching like shit so I decide to go take a bathe thinking it will clam down. I open the tap pouring cold water into the bathe tab, I enter the bath tab of cold water and shiver a bit before I get used to the water but I start remembering my life with Jeremy and it starts hurting all over again but this time it gets worse, I decide to put myself in the water and just lay there then I hear a splash in the water I get out and it is Jeremy I look into his eyes with disbelief but I want to believe so I just went with the flow and smiled he comes close to me and kisses me then we look at each other and I jump on him kissing him passionately we both fall in the water I feel myself drafting off into deeper, wider waters surrounding me. I am holding my breathe not to breath, I look around for Jeremy but I could not find him I start losing air and I begin swimming up to the surface but it seemed far away from me I fight so hard to swim to the top because I was losing more and more air I suddenly see a light and swim towards it as fast as I could when I reach the light I break through it coming out of the water releasing that I was still in my bath tab and Jeremy isn't with me, I am still there lonely shivering so I decide get out of the bathe tab to dress up for breakfast I dress up in a pair of black shorts and a blue shirt, I head down for breakfast but I don't feel like myself, my head ache is getting worse and worse I thought that the bath would work maybe I lack a lot of water so I go to take some water I kinda feel a little better then I sit on the dinner table to take my breakfast after breakfast I stand up to head to the sitting room as my parents are washing the dishes and my brothers are playing with their toys in the dinning room this time round they are all staying because my brothers are in their holidays and parents are having a day off their work. As I reach the middle of the room I start to feel wheezy and dizzy, suddenly I faint and I hear my parents and brothers running towards me hearing mom calling my name.
"Laranie, Laranie....."mom calls me, I could only hear her mom call my name but I could not reply, I can barely open my eyes seeing my mom shaking me and tears flowing down her face I could see some little light.
"She is burning up, we got to take her to the hospital" dad says
"Okay, go start the car and come back for her to carry her and take her there"
Dad rushes to the garage to park the car on the street and comes back to get me, he carries me to the car and we drive off to the 'LONDON CITY INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL' when we arrive I node my head in disapproval seeing the lights getting darker and darker.
"Laranie, honey everything will be okay"I hear mom says, dad carries me into the hospital and a group of nurses rush to me bring a stretcher to dad, they put me on it and I see so many lights flashing past me rushing me to the ICU room, my parents are made to stand outside as they await for my results. A few hours later the doctor comes out with a file and the results.
"So doctor, How is she?"dad asks
"She is fine but.... She has very strong micro-synod malaria" he says
"But how did she get it?"mom asks
"Sometimes, this type of malaria is got by too much stress and lack of water plus lack of enough food" the doctor says.
"She stopped eating when Jeremy broke up with her one and a half weeks back"
"Yeah and she would always cry about it all the time" dad says
"There you go but she will be fine, we have just put her on a big bottle of water and she needs some rest but you can enter and check up on her" he says
"Okay doctor" dad says
"Thank you doctor" mom says
Mom and dad enter the room finding me asleep, mom approaches me calling my name and I open my eyes seeing mom and dad standing there looking at me.
"Laranie, how are you feeling now?" mom asks
"I feel so how better" I answer with weakness in my voice.
"Laranie, the doctor said that you have micro-synod malaria and it was caused due to too much stress, less food and water in the body" mom says
"I wasn't eating in the past one and a half weeks"
"That's it, you shouldn't stress yourself with people who no longer love you and if you do still love them move on and focus on the ones who do"
When I heard that statement I was reminded about Louis, I had totally forgotten about him that he was my boy friend first so I ask mom to do for me a favor.
"Mom, can you please do for me something"
"What is it dear?"
"Can you please call Louis and tell him where I am"
"Why would you want that?"
"Because I need someone to comfort me like Louis, Jeremy is not around so he is the only friend I have remained with"
"Okay, I will do any thing for you dear, just get some rest first"
"Thank you mom I love you, love you dad"
"I love you too honey" mom and dad say at the same time.
So they got out of the room leaving me thinking on my bed about what my mom had just said. I think I should leave Jeremy in the past and focus my life and relationship with Louis I draft off to sleep and one hour later I get to hear a voice that I knew talking to someone when I open my eyes it was Louis talking on the phone to his mom.
"Yeah...yeah....mom, I am at the hospital to check up on Laranie"
"Okay,get home safe"she says
"Okay mom,love you"
"I love you too"
He hugs up and looks at me ,he runs towards me when I open my eyes looking at him,he knees down next to my bed.
"Hi Laranie"
"Hey"I say in a weak voice.
"How are you feeling right now?"
"I am fine now because you are here with me"
"I missed you so much for the past one and a half weeks"
"I am sorry, I just had a lot on my mind"
"Laranie, I don't want to lose you, I am here for you to relief your stress"
"Well, I am sorry I was also dating Jeremy but he found out on the day when he was leaving for France and he broke up with me that is why I have been stress but I am ready to be with you because I have understood that Jeremy is in the past and you are my present"
"Laranie, it's fine,I am just happy I have you all to myself"
"Wait, you knew?"
"Yeah, I did but I just wanted you to discover out the truth yourself that he is not meant for you"
"I am sorry Louis" I say as tears start rolling down my eyes.
"No, Laranie don't cry, I love you just the way you are" he says as he wipes away my tears from my eyes.
He then kisses me and he sits besides me as we are talking and laughing making mu day better because I was with someone I love, it's now 1:00 pm in the afternoon and the doctor comes into checkup on me ready to discharge me from the hospital.
"So Laranie how are you feeling right now?" the doctor asks
"I am feeling much better now"
"I can see that, so we are discharging you in a few minutes, so a nurse is coming to remove from you the drip from your body and cover it up very well okay"
"Okay doc, thank you very much"
"Wait, who is gonna take you home?"
"He is talking me home" I say as I point to Louis.
"Okay then, the nurse is coming in later"
"Okay" I say and he walks away.
We continue with our conversation until the nurse enters the room to remove the drip from my body.
"Hi Laranie, how are you feeling now?"
"Fine"
"Okay, hold still as I remove your drip"
"Okay"
It took less than five seconds and the dip was out she puts a bandage on my worn as she saying.
"So, you are ready to go"
"Okay thanks"
When she leaves I look at Louis who looking at me so deep that I could hear what his thinking.
"So are you ready? we get going" I ask him
"Yeah let's go but before we do" he comes close to me and starts kissing me as he lays me back onto the bed.
"Louis, we got to go"
"Laranie I missed your sweet kisses"
"We can't do it here"
"Why?"
"Because there are cameras watching us"
"Okay let's go back home" he says
"Okay"
He gets off me and head to sign out of the hospital.
