Laemno was curious about the man's connection to the Veiled Matriarch, but he wasn't stupid enough to ask about its nature directly.
"Wayfarer will suffice," he said while leading the way across a mountainside path. "As my name suggests, I spend most of my time traveling throughout the Boreal Continent."
"Oh, I see... It makes sense. I suppose it would be weird if you merely roamed Hierapetra to rescue people at the sound of a whistle."
The Wayfarer narrowed his eyes. "You're making me sound like a dog."
"Far be it from me to mean that," Laemno snickered. "May I ask why you enjoy traveling so much?"
"It's not something you can put into words." His tone shifted. "You should understand it better than anyone, however. The freedom to tread the land as you wish after being shackled for so long. Doesn't it inspire you?"
