Laemno stood bemused at the exchange between the hag and the assassin.
He listened to Nysa's mumblings, then moved his gaze to her interlocutor. His lips curved into a smirk following an intrusive thought, and he blurted out before he could gauge his words, "You don't seem like a simple old woman to me, much less a Lady."
The hag answered his taunt with a smile. "Amusingly enough, you do resemble Him."
"Resemble who?" Laemno inquired.
"That, you do not need to know yet." She lowered her bluish cane, grasping the horn of the humanoid skull with two bony fingers. "I am certain you will learn of it soon enough, however."
Laemno narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"
The hag chuckled. "Exactly what I said, boy. His concealing miasma is already wafting alongside the coils of your Mana. Had I not planted a tracking spell on dear Nysa, finding the both of you would have been a considerable hurdle."
