When Alexander heard what Carson said he squinted his eyes into two narrowed slits as the atmosphere around him changed slightly.
"You... You actually want to try me? Let me warn you, if you dared to attack him again then you won't be going home back alive after this day."
Carson's face twitched when he heard Alexander's blatant threat and as he was about to say something he subconsciously stop as he saw some kind of strange mist rotating around Alexander's hands.
Even though he didn't know what effect those strange mist had Carson wasn't curious enough to find out.
He had studied everything about the students who had the most influential families in order to not provoke them unknowingly.
Among the ones he had studied Alexander was one of them.
Although his ability was kept hidden and unknown, information about his background was kept in the open. His father was once an ordinary man but when he awakened his own powers he quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the most influential figures along with the five great families. Through the information he had gathered it was said he could manipulate the power of "corrosion" a terrifying ability that could corrode the body, effectively turning the physical body into a dried corpse in less than a minute.
In the last war he had single handedly killed thousands of beasts using that power.
Carson wasn't certain that Alexander had awaken the same ability through his bloodline, but he wasn't presumptuous enough to think he could win against him right now if he did.
Carson wasn't an arrogant person to begin with, he wasn't going to act pompously just because he was now a little stronger than he was previously.
[Notice: It is possible to allow master to see the enemies' stats and ability, would master like to deploy this ability? (yes/no)] The systems voice resounded inside his head.
'Eh, that's possible?' Carson was dumbfounded by this news. 'Okay, let's try it.' He said internally.

A transparent screen appeared before his eyes.
'I see... So, he really did inherit his father's ability after all. Not to mention, his levels are way above mine.' Carson furrowed his brow.
It would be unwise to face someone so many levels higher than his. Currently he wasn't able to use magic due to his lack of mana.
After thinking about the pros and cons calmly he decided to back away. 'Now that I can gradually grow stronger, I should try to level up as much as possible.' Until then he couldn't allow himself to get thoughtlessly into conflict with any of the experts who could pose a problem for him right now.
Not to mention he didn't want to create any unnecessary problems for his parents either.
"Fine, I'll leave." He said, as he turned and walked past Alexander without so much as a glance back. The white-haired youth glared hatefully at Carson's back that kept growing more distant in his gaze as he walked away not minding his presence.
Alexander didn't pursue the matter once he saw that Carson no longer had the will to fight, instead he roughly grabbed the wrist of the white-haired youth and dragged him away before muttering, "As expected, you're such a disappointment. Whether its back home or here, nothing has changed."
...
Meanwhile, inside a certain classroom.
A young girl was currently going through her phones contact list as she sat around her desk. The young girl was Luna, 16 years old and Carson's childhood friend. She texted Carson three times as class was about to begin.
The teacher was already starting to explain about dungeon and its complexities which was the topic for this class. 'Seriously where is he?' She wondered as she was starting to feel a bit restless. Carson's reputation wasn't good as he had gotten in various troubles with the other students.
While she knew he wasn't at fault as the others enjoyed bullying him since he couldn't fight back, he still would be severely punished for it. Soon, as her anxious heart was getting more restless by the second there was a knock on the classroom door.
All the students present subconsciously turned their attention to the door as it opened gradually revealing the figure of Carson who stepped inside.
"M-My apologies for my late arrival." Carson said as he lowered his head towards the head teacher. Honestly, he didn't know it was this late until he had checked his phone earlier.
His skirmish with Alexander and the other youth had impede him and prevented him from arriving here on time.
The instructor a middle-aged man with short silky black hair. Mr. Mason looked at Carson with displeasure before asking, "Young Carson do you think so little of my class that you feel you can show up whenever you please?"
"N-No I just lost track of time." Carson said, lowering his head in dejection. Mr. Mason gazed at Carson's figure deeply before sighing. "Please do not allow this to happen again. You may sit." He said as he resumed explaining about the different dungeons.
Carson walked towards his seat in the far corner that was next to the opened window. However, before he sat down, he saw a familiar face already seated in the middle. The young girl seemed to be around his age with long waist length straight blonde hair and bright emerald, green eyes.
Once their eyes met, she showed a beautiful smile with a slight wave of her slender hand. Carson's lips also curved upwards into a faint smile as he nodded his head and sat down.
Mr. Mason talked for roughly two hours, explaining in full detailed about the mysterious dungeon that had appeared around various corners of the world. As for where or why these dungeons suddenly appeared researchers were still investigating.
The dungeon all has different rank, the level of risk and dangers change depending on their ranks.
F rank dungeons are usually inhabitants of weak monsters, while B ranked dungeons have monsters that were slightly stronger. A rank dungeon is where experienced warriors usually adventure to face the monsters living inside.
However, the highest rank a dungeon can go is rank S usually closed off to the public as the monsters inside there are considered too powerful for the average warriors and only the truly strong could explore those dungeons.
The rewards also vary depending on the rank of each dungeon.
Carson's blue eyes shone faintly as he thought of the dungeons that had appeared. Now that he knew of the existence of God's and invaders his suspicion towards the sudden evolution of the planets, as well as occurrence of humans awakening different abilities grew.
'Hey, do you know the reason why humans awaken their powers?' He asked the voice inside his head.
[Notice: The sudden evolution of the universe is most likely caused by the divine energies of the transcendent who had fought against the invaders 10,000 years ago.] The voice resounded.
'I see... It's just as I thought. So, humans didn't awaken their powers simply because they evolved naturally but was stimulated by outside influences.' His eyes narrowed slightly as he pondered deeply on the matter. Divine energy was a power unique to the gods. It was hard to tell what influence it would have if humans were to come into contact with such energy.
'Perhaps the divine energies caused a mutation within the bodies of humans, but then why?' His blue eyes flickered as he pondered to himself.
If that was the case, then why didn't he evolve along with the rest of the world? This made him greatly confused. According to the system he was the reincarnation of the so-called god of chaos. While he was still wrapping his head around this, shouldn't he be the one most effected?
[Negative: The effects of the energy of the world had no effects on you because it's impossible for your body to be tempered with outside energies. As the power of destruction currently flows through your body making it difficult for you to be affected.] The voice explained.
'Eh, the power of destruction?' Carson arched an eyebrow when he heard that. 'Just what kind of power is destruction?' He inquired, curiously.
[Master ruled over the concept of destruction and chaos. Among the transcendent being that once rules over the universe alongside him, the only one capable of facing him is the goddess of creation who went missing along with the rest of the gods.]
'... I see. Even the other transcendent had a hard time dealing with the invaders. Were they really that strong?' He asked, he could vaguely remember the image of the monster the god of chaos and destruction faced in outer space in his dream but, he still didn't know how strong it really was.
[Master's strength alone was more than enough to deal with them, but... During his battle he was betrayed and stabbed in the back.]
Carson's face stiffens as he felt the voice suddenly became several times colder than before. 'Ah, that's right! There was a flash from the distance before I woke up, who was it? Who betrayed him?' Carson asked with a serious expression etched on his face. If he was really the reincarnation of the god of chaos and destruction, then technically he was also betrayed as well.
[The current master is too weak to learn that kind of information.]
"Eh, what do you mean I am too weak to learn that information? What does strength have to do with me finding out?" He asked with a befuddled expression.
[Answer: Some information has been strictly prohibited by the laws of the universe. Going against them could bring you great disaster. It's best you find out once you've reached a certain level of strength.] The voice replied.
"... I see. Sigh, well then, I guess there is nothing I can do about that. But could you tell me more about the sudden evolution of earth, does the gods has something to do with its mutation?"
[Affirmative: The battle between the gods and the invaders lasted for several years. During that time, it was natural that the universe would be greatly affected by the residual energy lingering in the atmosphere. Though I did not calculate that it would allow the inhabitants of the planets to evolve, or maybe...] After saying that much the voice froze as though it was thinking of something.
"... Maybe?" Carson asked, his face contorted into confusion when the system had paused during its explanation. "Carson!" Suddenly the instructors voice boomed throughout the class startling Carson who was currently listening to the voice inside his head.
"Ah, Y-Yes, sir!" He got to his feet in a rather hurried manner as he asked. At his reaction the entire class burst into laughter.
Luna gaze at him in exasperation as she exhaled a deep breath.
Meanwhile, Carson's expression became somewhat awkward as he realized his mistake. He was so engrossed in his conversation with the systems that he had unintentionally stop paying attention to the surroundings.
"Could it be that my class is too bothersome for you?" Mr. Mason asked, his voice laced with displeasure. "Ah, of course not. My apologies, sir." Carson bowed his head solemnly before once again taking his seat.
He completely ignored the soft whispers and stares he was receiving from the other students present and opened his notebook. Luna gaze at him deeply with her emerald eyes before she took up her phone and started typing.
Buzz~
"Mm..." Carson frown as he felt the vibration inside his pocket and quickly took out his phone. Once the screen lit up, he saw the message from Luna.
Luna: Are you feeling, okay?
Carson's fingers moved quickly as he replied.
Carson: Of course, why do you ask?
Luna: I've been observing you this entire time you know. You've been in deep thought while talking to yourself.
Carson: Eh, you saw that?
Carson put down his phone on his notebook as he felt a feeling of embarrassment. 'Damn it I have to keep my expressions under control when speaking to the system.' He thought.
[Notice: I am designated as Evangeline; master, please address me with that name from now on.] Evangeline suddenly said, her emotionless voice held a faint hint of pride.
