After school, Alex stuffed all his school materials into a bag, since he couldn't afford to buy a spatial ring like other kids.
Alex waited for some time, so as to let most of the students leave first.
After a waiting for a few more times, Alex walked out of the class.
"You, hey wait"
Alex was stopped in his tracks, that familiar voice reeked of trouble.
Before he could turn around or run away, he was shoved to the wall and pinned on it.
Alex had a scrawny build to begin with, causing him to look two years younger than most of his mates.
Alex had always fought back no matter what, but his opponent this time was a Val Anderson, a speed user and the class's biggest bully.
Alex struggled against the wall bit was pressed harder on it.
"No no, what are you tryna do now, huh?" Val smiled slyly.
"Give up on the post, I want to be one of the leaders" Val added and let Alex go, he dusted his hands and smiled.
Alex frowned, he had decided to go and then some black sheep popped out of nowhere and wanted to take his post.
"Tsk, you wish"
"Did you say something just now or it was just the wind?" Val asked.
"I said you wish" Alex repeated.
Val gritted his teeth in annoyance, pulled Alex's black hair hard and threw him on the floor.
Two other boys came and stood behind Val with smirks on their plain faces.
"I heard your aunt works at Anderson Co, I'm sure you know what I can do, huh"
Alex gritted his teeth and shot up and gave an unexpected punch, even though his hit packed little power it was the best he could do, he hated when his aunt was threatened.
Val held his cheek
"As expected frail and weak" Val returned a hit of his own, sending a punch to Alex's stomach.
"Argh" air was knocked out of Alex's lungs, he was sent crashing into a wall.
Red warm liquid trickled down Alex's lips, he groaned but refused to cower.
He held his stomach and stood up slowly with the support of the wall.
"Damn, he is one unrelenting cockroach" the boy at Val's left chuckled.
"Then, make him relent" Val growled and turned away, walking out of the scene.
Alex looked at the boys with clear and unrelenting eyes, his brown eyes glistening in anger.
"Aish, I'm so afraid" one of the boys mocked and walked towards Alex.
"What do you prefer, fist or ability"
"Nah, both would be fine"
Alex knew that if he stayed here any longer, he might loose his life.
Alex charged up and ran towards the direction of the gate.
This was a matter of life, Alex was in no way slow it might even be considered the fastest he had ever ran.
A yellow energy balled knocked him down before he could reach the gate, Alex fell at someone's feet, he looked up to see a pair of straight long legs, a heart shaped face with dark purple hair and beady black eyes.
This was the class fastest student and one of the best too, going by the name Jael Jagger.
The familiar face looked down at him with a cold face, shivers was sent down Alex's spine.
