He has unknowingly imprinted himself in Getha's mind as her next guardian after the death of her parents.
The one she has to look up to like a child does to the parents, that is the kind of impression Sango has given Getha.
It was not of his intention to do so, but turned out that way due to the loneliness of a child desperate to be at the hands of someone they can feel safe in.
Losing everything she once knew as her home has affected her mentally, pushing her to seek solace in the next matured mind she comes across.
Sango just so happens to be that person to her, appearing before her like a beacon of light brightening up her world and drawing her out of the darkness filled only with loneliness and emptiness.
