While Sango and Kian were thinking of a way to start up a conversation with the residents of the jungle, a swift arrow that made a whistling sound came running toward them.
Kian tilted his head slightly to the back as he thrust out his hand forward and caught hold of the arrow that was about to pass him by.
His action alerted Sango to turn his face in the direction the arrow came from.
There were about ten of them standing ahead of Sango and Kian, all armed with bows and an arrow-filled quiver tied to their backs.
Sango was enthralled to see that they were humans with a mixture of fair and brown to give off a compelling complexion, along with the fact that they are dressed primitively, with leaves covering only their crotch while they had the rest of their bodies naked.
But none of that seemed to matter much to Sango. What he saw were humans, and that alone was enough to put his mind somewhat at ease.
