It was cold and dark. Those were my first thoughts as I opened my eyes. I tried moving, but I felt like I was underwater. As to be expected, it was very hard to move. It was though, I feel like I'm underwater and yet I can still breathe. However, a single word kept drifting in my mind since I woke up.
"[Gate]."
//Skill [Gate] has been created.//
And with that word spoken, I was out of that watery place and seemed to be in another dark but dry area. I reached out, this time another word inside my head.
"[Illuminate]."
//Skill [Illuminate] has been created.//
Sure enough, a small orb of light appeared on my reached out hand and lit up the darkness. My surroundings were just rocky walls with a single opening in front of me. A cave…? More importantly though…
"What's with this "skill has been created" thing?"
It's been bugging me since earlier when it created the [Gate] skill. 'Can I create anything I want?' Testing this theory out, I tried to create a sword to defend myself. However, another thing happened instead.

Wait wait wait! I'm really confused now! I didn't even know who I was and where I am, so what exactly is happening right now!? I can't keep up with this!

Outside of the cave that our main protagonist is in, the forest filled with high leveled magical beasts turned silent. The forest that always has been loud ever since its conception, has turned silent. A group of four, three humans and one android, all became confused.
"What happened?" A man with a shield said as he looked around confusedly.
"I don't know either. In any case, this is our chance to escape, Captain." The android girl said as the gun on her forearm retreated back into her.
"She's right… I'm getting tired here…" Said a hunk of a man who was carrying a girl on his back. "Damnit, why won't this princess just listen."
Said princess was now unconscious on the man's back after being hit with a shockwave. Luckily, she didn't sustain any heavy damage.
"Right, let's fall back as fast as we can!" The captain said as he guided everyone out of the forest. Little did they know, this being that made the whole forest silent will be an important all to them in the future.

I've been trying to get out of this cave for an hour now, but still, no luck at all. With a heavy sigh, I sat down on the ground. I've later found out who I am after rummaging through my pockets. Hisui Tohno, age 19. That was just written on a piece of paper with the words "Remember who you once were'' at the bottom of it. It seems there was something else written even below that, but the paper was ripped.
"I wish I could see myself though-" I said out loud sarcastically. Before I could finish my sentence, what I was hoping for to happen actually happened.
//Skill [Mirror] has been created.//
"Knew it." I said smugly.
Holding my hand out, I called upon the [Mirror]. It appeared in front of me and sure enough, it was actually a mirror. Looking at it, I finally saw my appearance. Purple eyes that mesmerize even me and snow white hair. My pupils almost appeared almost feline while I had something that appeared to be red eyeliner. All of this compliments my fair complexion.
"Dang, I look nice not gonna lie."
I shook my head amusedly. Nah, I just woke up, I can't be above average now can I? I'll only be able to find that out if I find another… what am I? I have the concept of humans and other species in my head, but I'm unsure if I'm even human. After all, I feel… semifluid? It's hard to describe.
"Alright, time to look for an exit again." I said as I stood up again. I dusted myself off as I used [Illuminate] again. However, I instinctively dodged to the side. Looking back to where I was, I saw a… spear?
'Shit, is there an enemy!?'
I quickly looked towards the darkness and used [Analyze]. There, I saw a status screen show up.

A complete copy of CĂş Chulainn from Earth. No one knows where he came from, he just said that he was here as a means to protect this world from danger. Unlike other of his kin, he doesn't have longevity, thus being able to be undead.

That was all I could feel as the being in front of me called the spear back. How am I going to defeat someone that strong? I mean, he's high level, he's gotta be strong! And I'm supposed to defeat that!?
"!?"
While I was wrapped with my thoughts, I saw the spears edge in front of my face. I barely dodged it as it nicked my ear. Blood dripped out from the wound as I jumped back a few feet away. Huh, so I can do that?
He's fast, but I can still react to it, although barely. Still though…
//Skill [Evasion] has been created.//
//Skill [Danger Sense] has been created.//
…Heh, knew it.
Dodging another strike from him, I got into a battle stance, somehow this was already familiar to me, I began to put all my strength to my right fist. And much like my knowledge of species and other stuff, words came to my brain as I spoke them.
"Superhuman: Devastator." I said as appeared beside CĂş Chulainn at superhuman speeds. Just from that instantaneous jump early, I had a kindling that this should be possible. I then launched my full powered, at least that's what I think, punch at him.
*Clang*
He blocked my punch with his spear. Strangely enough though, rather than bleeding from punching a spiky spear, I saw my fist be surrounded by a black aura.
//Hidden Skill [Armament] has been discovered.//
'Hidden skill? That's new.' I thought as I jumped back. Weirdly enough, after that initial meeting, I'm able to keep a calm mind now. I guess this is the effect of that [Mental Stability] skill.
My thoughts were abruptly stopped as I perfectly dodged a strike from behind. [Evasion] I presume. This time, putting my strength to my left leg, I appeared above him and performed an axe kick. He blocked it again, but this time I was prepared.
"Bang!"
Using [Illuminate] I made a ball of light that then exploded, a makeshift flashbang if you will. Somehow, it worked, and I'll gladly take that opportunity. 5 seconds, that's all I have until he recovers.
'That's why-' I began charging up my fist as soon as I landed.'-I'll end it with this!' Once again, I used Superhuman: Devastation. I felt it. My fist passed through his chest at blinding speeds as the effect of the flash finally wore off.
//1% unlocked. Please continue more tasks to unlock more of your power.//
"Eh?"
"Well, that's done." CĂş Chulainn spoke, catching me off guard. He spoke in such a tired tone that you wouldn't think he had just been impaled. "I knew that I should have at least went a bit harder on you, but orders are orders." He added, sighing jokingly.
"What…?"
"You may not remember it, but 'you' told me to put you on a trial once you arrive."
"Wait… I said that?"
"Yes and no. You'll find out soon enough. Now that my mission is finished though, I can finally rest. That's for making me into a donut."
"Ah-"
Sure enough, as soon as I removed my hand from his chest, he began turning to dust.
"You're still far from him, but I know you'll get there. Since I can't really stay by your side, here-" He said as he handed his spear over to me. "Now, only you can wield that spear. I'm sure you'll come around using it. Excuse me, I'll go and buy some milk."
With one last laugh, the man whom I just made into a donut, disappeared into particles of dust. The only thing that remained of him in this world was the spear. Speaking of his spear, I decided to finally [Analyze] it.
