"Is there anything else?"
Homura asked like that because he didn't think that topic was serious enough for Fumino to call him.
After a pause, Fumino's voice came again, somewhat hesitantly.
"Um, Minamiya-kun, Kirisu-sensei wants to meet with you, so... do you have time next Saturday afternoon?"
She knew that his circle activity had already started these past few days, but because she and others still needed to occupy and disturb his time, she felt a bit guilty.
"Wants to meet me?"
Homura wasn't surprised since they were already talking face-to-face, so it wasn't strange that Kirisu wanted to meet him, but he still wanted to know the reason.
"Why does she want to meet me?"
"Maybe because of the recent changes in our grades? Kirisu-sensei probably wants to persuade you to stop tutoring us..." Fumino said with a confused tone since she wasn't entirely sure if that was the reason. "Kirisu-sensei also wants to thank Minamiya-kun in person for the sandwiches you made before."
"Oh, I see..." Homura pondered.
He didn't really care about the latter part, but he was more concerned about what Fumino had said earlier.
Trying to persuade him? Did she think he was doing useless work?
Thinking about this, Homura glanced at the skill panel that displayed his 'Teaching' skill and couldn't help but smile.
"Saturday afternoon, right? Okay, I'll meet her. Where should we meet though?" Homura's voice drew the attention of others.
"It's my home... it can only be my home, right? Minamiya-kun doesn't know Uruka-chan's home, and as for Ri-chan's, there's Uncle Ogata..."
Fumino answered awkwardly, and Homura could clearly feel she was uncomfortable.
"Yes, no problem." Homura agreed since this matter was quite important to Fumino and the others.
"Thank you, Minamiya-kun... You're helping us again."
"No worries. See you on Saturday."
"See you on Saturday."
After hanging up the phone, Homura shrugged his shoulders at the girls who were watching him.
"That's the story..."
"What story?" Eriri rolled her eyes. "You didn't say anything!"
"Well, Kirisu-sensei probably wants to meet me to persuade me not to tutor Furuhashi and the others anymore." Homura guessed.
"Well, who told you to steal someone else's job... now you've earned her anger?" Elf quipped.
Homura was speechless for a moment.
"Who stealing who? If their teacher could teach them properly, why would they come to me?"
"Ahaha... just kidding!" Elf chuckled. "But, if you can turn their grades from single digits to above 20, you're not ordinary."
"Not bad, I guess..." Homura shrugged. "If I can get them to reach above 80, will Kirisu-sensei still ask me to quit?"
"If you can really get them to that grade, it would be a slap in the face. Countless teachers are helpless, but you, a mere student, outperform them." Utaha shook her head.
"Well, you can't blame me for that..." Homura said. "Yosh! Let's get to work. I drew out the Ahoge King's Noble Phantasm yesterday. Eriri, add it to the mix."
The girls nodded, and even Nanami temporarily followed them to the activity room to watch. But as they walked, she suddenly felt something was off.
"Ahoge King?" Eriri suddenly realized, and the others quickly realized it too.
"What is this nickname about... but it doesn't look bad. Having an 'ahoge' as a cute point, yeah, It looks pretty cute." Eriri nodded and hurriedly headed toward her desk.
Homura scratched his head, having accidentally let it slip. He shook his head and went back to his desk.
"Homura! Come take a look!" Eriri came over and eagerly handed her drawing to Homura.
Golden hair and emerald eyes.
Eriri executed the character design very well. The small strand of hair (ahoge) on top of Artoria's head was relatively eye-catching, and her cold demeanor and expression were all very well done.
Standing upright in a forward-facing position, the armor was a bit of an issue since it covered everything except the face.
"Eriri, can't you at least give our king a dress underneath the armor..." Homura scratched his head.
"A dress?!" Eriri exclaimed. "Isn't the idea that she's hiding her true identity as female? Wouldn't full body armor be more fitting than just a regular skirt?"
"But isn't that thing non-removable?" Homura shrugged. "I mean, she's a Heroic Spirit, no? With a quick burst of magic, she could instantly change her outfit anytime easily."
The girls listened to his words and nodded silently.
After all, this was a work of this era, and the clothing design didn't need to be that strict. Making the characters more visually appealing was something most authors would do.
"Okay, I'll make the changes right away..."
"Here, also add some weapons while you're at it."
Eriri took a glance at them and her eyes instantly lit up. She didn't say anything further and quickly went back to her seat and got busy.
"Are you still working on that story?" Homura asked Elf nearby. After all, she had already written about the battle inside the barren desert filled with swords before.
"Yep!" Elf nodded vigorously. "Besides, I've already finished writing Artoria's death!"
Hearing that, Homura raised an eyebrow and thought, 'What's going on? Is she planning to write the story backward?'
"The story itself isn't anything special, just a few tweaks to the legend, so it's going quickly." Elf added.
"Yeah, there's nothing special about the dialogue either. It looks like an ordinary novel from the script, but it's a real test for voice actors." Homura agreed.
"But... it's kinda boring with the same old plot which makes the initial excitement fade..." Elf pouted. "Can't we add something of our own?"
"Well then, why don't you and Muramasa divide the work? Each of you can be responsible for specific Heroic Spirit storylines." Homura suggested.
"Sounds good. That's the way to go." Elf nodded.
Turning to Utaha and Nayuta, Homura asked.
"Utaha-senpai, are you in charge of Artoria's romance route?"
Utaha nodded and chuckled.
"Yeah, I'm interested in writing the aloof King Arthur. By the way, I'm also in charge of Tohsaka Rin's romance route, after all..." Utaha glanced at Eriri as she spoke. "I understand the behavior of 'Tsundere' pretty well."
Hearing her words and seeing where her gaze was going, Homura's lips twitched. Thankfully, Eriri wasn't paying attention; otherwise, they might start quarreling again.
"But..." Homura furrowed his brow. "Nayu, you shouldn't be the one to write Sakura's storyline."
Matou Sakura, according to his setup, had experienced abuse, but he hadn't explained it in detail.
This was a bit of selfishness on his part.
He hoped that someone else would write Sakura's storyline differently from what he remembered. After all, she was an unfortunate and tragic character for countless fans.
When it came to Sakura, Homura didn't want to interfere too much. He hoped that his circle members could find a different way to spare her from the most terrible thing that could happen to a girl.
"It's okay, Senpai... Let me handle Sakura."
Nayuta responded with a smile.
"I... should be more suitable than Utaha-san for depicting Sakura after all..."
