Just before Raon had gotten into the fight between Ron and Borris, he was talking with Void.
"What can I do to help?"
"Nothing. I told you, it's out of your league."
"W-wait!? What about using the void?"
"No, it wouldn't work. Well, no, it would work, but your body can't handle it."
"I know! I know. If only I were tier 2 and not stuck in tier 1."
"That is a mystery in itself."
"Huh?"
"Well, by all accounts, you should have been promoted to tier 2; however, you haven't."
"Wait? What are the requirements, the full requirements to be promoted?"
"Well, considering you're making your own legend, you would need a sufficient reputation, a minimum amount of stats, and a connection with the world tree."
"The world tree?"
"Well, yes, the world tree is merely an avatar of a much greater being."
"Wait? That's it! I don't have a connection with the world tree."
