Ruby stared at the beautiful night sky with intrigue. Before she was forcibly torn away from her home and planet, she had wanted to explore space, unravel all its mysteries, and find out its secrets. She sighed and began to laugh with self-pity. That dream she had worked so hard to achieve had been completely destroyed, and now she was living a life full of conflict and things only seen in a book. While she was lost in thought, a man walked up behind her and said with a soft tone,
"Ruby, we are planning to head to the Union. Would you like to come with us?"
"Union?"
"Mhm, it seems the people of the other world banded together and formed it. From what I hear, it was introduced by someone you must have heard of, Raon White. He was the one that held the ancient technique to help prevent the landscape from changing with the world merge."
"Raon!? Mhm, I'll go!"
"Alright, pack your things. We will be leaving first thing in the morning."
