The elf king's eyes dimmed before falling on his knee the moment his spell ended. Blood trickled on the grey stone floor from his nose as a backlash from exhausting so much mana in one spell.
He stood up and observed his surroundings again. The dark room tall room only allowed so little light from the outside world, so only a few parts were lit—including where he was standing, in the center.
The walls were faintly grey with statues of knights circling the center as if they were all looking at something.
The king's eyes moved at the knights with an intelligent gaze. He had been studying this place for centuries, and still hasn't even come close to the truth of these ruins.
"Die!" With a single command, a wisp of air struck the knight statues. But his attack had done nothing to the statues even though it could cut through metal with ease.
