To test if it still worked, he willed some mana into it and blue electricity started cackling around its surface. This special artifact was from Asterisk, and through a strange mechanism, the sphere was capable of creating lightning magic from the get go.
It would've cost five silver coins, but it was old and the seller was desperate to let go. And after bargaining for nearly thirty minutes, Arthur had won the war convincing the old man to cut down the price from one silver to three copper coins.
