"Damn it! Damn it!" Eris cursed as she tightened the grip she already on the beast's fur in order not to fall off as they ran through the dark forests.
Chasing from a fair distance was a giant boar that broke through every tree in its way by bashing its rock hard head through anything obstructing its path.
Exactly a day had passed since she left Elshelem in pursuit of her true path. The plan was to fly over the forests but that meant risking attacks from airborne beasts which were much harder to battle because of how fast they could be. Also, the main purpose for this journey was to help her get stronger, and flying would mean leaving all the work to her bond.
"We'll split from there!" she pointed at a separation in the path and prepared her magic bow. The runes on it activated as she willed mana into it while getting ready to jump.
