"You're a powerful mage, boy." She commented while staring at the flames dancing in front of her.
Her calm presence was unlike anything Arthur had sensed until now. Her eyes said nothing about her as she continued looking at the furious flames. Not much time had passed since he killed the slave traders. He had gone that far without thinking that this girl was a mage, and wasn't cautious enough to scan for her core.
"I get that a lot." He replied. "You said something about one of the slave traders being a nobleman. Might I know which house?"
She sucked on her teeth then said, "So that you can go and murder them? I can see the demonic aura. I've faced one before."
Intently, she unleashed a strong wave of mana that made Arthur to jump to his feet and draw out his sword—his hands trembled as he gripped tightly onto the handle. He felt the need to use dark sister, but he wasn't ready yet.
