A burst of fire spells in the form of burning birds was launched from White's hand after one wave of his wand. They spun into an intertwined motion transforming into a fire twister flying toward Alec.
A smirk rose on Alec's face before spreading both his arms in a glamorous fashion and a wall of earth transmuted from the ground and blocked the flaming birds with an explosive collision. Then, he stepped into action by phasing through the earthen wall and chanted quickly enough to make wooden spikes sprout from the ground, moving toward White who rocketed himself from the ground to avoid the spontaneous attacks.
And destroyed them with a single explosive spell, turning all of them to dust instantly.
"I didn't know you could control wood."
"I said I control earth, all of it." Alec giggled, then clutched onto his wand with his right hand. Its tip glowed as the mana in the air responded to him.
