"And that concludes the report of everything that occurred at the academy concerning the fight against the divine hunter."
Said the mage as she handed over a small file to Obsidian. He scribbled through the pages, looking for something specific.
"Any word on the traitor?" he asked, closing the file after finding nothing.
The mage shook her head. "Nothing yet, sir. But we have recently noticed a change in the barrier that guards the human domain."
Obsidian raised an eyebrow. This was news to him, "What about it?" he asked, curious to know what the mage was talking about.
"During the fight at the academy, there was a spike of cursed energy strong enough to rip through the dome. People say it was an energy beam that shot out of the academy and struck the sky. It caused a fuss of course, but because it happened in daylight, not many noticed."
"What? Then why isn't that in the report?" His face tensed.
